What People are saying

Great Friendly people

This is a treasure hidden in Montana. I've travled through the area many times and never stopped, I will from here on out. Wonderful place that you need to make sure you put on your buck list. The staff are very friendly and wild life runs around every night and day. Can't go wrong stopping here.

A great getaway

We got a great deal in October for a lovely room. We stayed in a King Spa room. The bed was great, there was a nice place to sit outside and the shower was fantastic. Didn't use the spa because we went over to the outdoor hot tub in the family center. That facility could use a bit of a facelift but was clean and we had a pleasant soak. The staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly. The coffeeshop was especially nice in the morning with a fire in the fireplace and some great coffee and treats. Restaurant/bar was ok food but the bartender was very loud and you couldn't get away from the sound of his voice. Nice outdoor fireplace but we were just too tired to sit out. Overall, a lovely weekend. Close enough to Glacier Park to spend the day there.

Pleasantly surprised

We stayed in a studio suite overlooking the golf course for a week in September. This is an upstairs unit in a 4 unit condo with larger units downstairs and studios upstairs. We reserved via a timeshare trade so I had not looked at Trip Advisor reviews prior to travelling. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the units, facilities, and amenities as many time shares seem to be showing their age. As with many condo units, however, it was not very soundproof from the adjoining units.
The studio unit was plenty large enough for the two of us. It would have been a bit too cozy for four. Although there was little floor space not occupied by furniture or the large jacuzzi tub area, there was a storage closet downstairs dedicated to our unit, plenty large enough for suitcases or other items to get out of the way. Closet/dresser space was ample. The gas fireplace was both attractive and provided a quick warm up without using the forced air heat.
The mini-kitchen was serviceable but disappointed not to have a dishwasher. But we were pleased there were free laundry facilities shared between the upstairs and downstairs units in a common area downstairs. Nice to be able to conveniently do laundry instead of trying to travel with multiple suitcases.
The unit was very clean and the furniture very comfortable.
There were many recreational facilities and activities at the resort, but we did not partake in any because we spent all our time touring and hiking Glacier NP and the Flathead Valley. Meadow Lake is conveniently located for touring - about 40 minutes from the West Glacier entrance, 15 minutes from the quaint town of Whitefish MT (good restaurants & shops there), 40 minutes from Flathead Lake. The person staffing the activities desk was very helpful, particularly with providing status of the wildfires and park closures. However, after getting lots of information the first day, when we stopped in two other occasions at around 9 am, there was no one there with information, an impediment for us since the wildfire and bear sighting conditions could change daily. And don't forget to bring bear spray if you plan on hiking in the area.
The resort itself was very walkable, and also bikes you could sign out. Parking was under cover at the door of the unit.
We enjoyed two meals (light fare dinners) at the restaurant. Casual atmosphere, tasty food.

October trip

We happen to win this accommodation on a raffle for the human society. The place was nicer that we expected. The one bedroom was more than my husband and I needed but we wanted the full kitchen. We spent most of our time sightseeing in the area so did not really cook that much. A very nice place to just relax if we had more time.

Spacious, well-laid out condo but in need of update, especially kitchen appliances and tub/shower/bathroom generally and living room furniture. Grounds well-maintained. Setting spectacular. Nevertheless very overall very comfortable.
