Good clean and modern room
sk3118on 08/11/2017 09:01This is one of the best modern hotels I have stayed in Itay, we stayed here for 4 nights as we used Genoa as a base to visit other cities like Rapallo, SML, Portofino and Camogil! They provide breakfast which is pretty good, they have a wide selection of continental breakfast.
They do offer parking but they do charge a daily rate for parking. The only problem about parking is that they do take a while to get your car from their garage, one time i waited 30 mins for the car.
Good hotel, good location
FernandoMexico8on 07/11/2017 21:01Located near a residential area, you will be within walking distance to the city center (old town). Rooms are well appointed and good size. Restaurant and bars are located near the hotel. Good choice for a pre-cruise stay.
Great quality of service and setting -
Dennis Bon 30/10/2017 16:23We took a top floor suite with terrace, an excellent room with great layout and genuine attention to detail. The team at Melia Genoa were a delight to deal with at all times, from arrival to departure. We have stayed at each of the 5-start hotels in Genoa during the past 4 years of visits, and can say wholeheartedly that the Melia is way out in front. Now that we have 'found' the package of excellence that we seek in a hotel, we will certainly be back and - in fact - have already re-booked at the Melia for our next trip to Genoa in 2018. The ONLY note of caution and disappointment that I will highlight is the breakfast. This could be easily improved, our experience was of a poor layout and shaky service. Needs more attention to detail and an effort to make breakfast the quality capping-off of a stay instead of a slightly downbeat end to one. However, overall I cannot hesitate to recommend the Melia Genoa.

Travel without trouble as you can expect
Luxembourg2010on 24/10/2017 05:47Besides its location, its service, comfort, cleanliness and breakfast have been perfect. Check in and out were very smooth. No need to complain about anything, the bed was opened, nobody disturbed while in the room, it felt so good to be taken care of discretely and almost “invisibly”. Melia contributed in a large way to making the visit in Genova a fabulous experience.
I will certainly stay there again whenever I shall return to Genova!
