Stayed in Tallet, lovely cottage, very clean and super comfy beds. Great dinner in old delightful farm house, Mennabroom, you do need to pre book; and fine breakfast too. Richard perfect host. Do follow their directions not yr sat nav. And Tania's welcome scones on arrival were "the best"

The whole property was immaculate. In the middle of lovely woods - very peaceful
Bodmin Moor central to Cornwall so many beaches and harbours readily available. Cornwall is beautiful, especially when the kids are at school! The local people are very friendly and some good pubs too. Altogether a very pleasant trip. Highly recommended.
Car essential. Very narrow roads. Care required.

My wife and I stayed in the Pink Room for 6 nights from the 12th of June 2017. The room was very clean and everything had been covered, from a fridge with water and milk to shampoo, body wash, wine glasses, tea and coffee, and many other extra's
The breakfast gave us a wide choice from a full Cornish, cooked to perfection to a lighter scrambled egg on toast or others in between.
If you want a disco in the evening this is not the place for you but if you want a totally relaxing venue with a warm and helpful welcome you will not be let down at all.
Tanya and Richard are wonderful hosts and their personality reflects in the care with which they treat their guests. So I will say to whoever is reading this make a booking and chill out in some wonderful countryside with great food and hosts

Greeted by Richard who welcomed us to the house and showed us to our 'blue room' home. Swiftly offering a cream tea before we headed back out. The charm of the house and land is unshakeable & Mrs Richard makes a cracking cup of tea! Millie, their black lab is utterly adorable, if not a little cheeky! We are here for 3 nights, only on our first night and I can already recommend!

First of all do not follow the Satnav till the end. Once you leave A30 and pass the lake on the left, slow down look out for the sign. After you pass the first one there would be a second one. Be slow.
Ricard and Rania are great hosts and their 14th century cottage is excellent.
Room was spot clean and toiletries were top class St Kitts. Breakfast was wonderful Our 4 year old had lovely had great time watching the sheep, cows and pigs.
We went on the river walk but get the directions from Richard beforehand.
Will definitely recommend and stay again and again.
