The hotel advertises safe parking but they charge almost €12 something which should have been provided for free!! There was a small fridge in the room sadly the hotel has chosen to significantly inflate the price of (crisps, water, coke) which came to €9!! It was apparent that the hotel is not particularly suited to anyone with a walking disability. The hotel is associated with Accor Hotels yet could not or simply could not bother to add membership points. The hotel was clean and the room was of an acceptable standard albeit the shower was home to mosquitoes. reception staff could have been friendlier - would I stay here again NO. Would I recommend this establishment for a family NO.

Visited for a two night stay. Hotel easy to access from motorway and convenient for travelling into Gibraltar.
Two rooms for two nights cost £420 euros without breakfast which costs £11 per person and car parking which costs £11.80 per night.
The rooms were good sizes but our bathroom in room 405 was in need of refurbishment. Shower very poor, corners of bathroom filthy and chewing gum stuck in the bathroom ceiling. We only had one medium sized towel and two small hand towels for the duration of our stay. The hair dryer was disgusting and just needed to be thrown away!
The bed was ok, if a little hard. Air con was great and our tv worked unlike room 408, however when we told reception this was fixed the next day.
I can see this is a corporate hotel which is used to having business and work men staying. The staff were cold and more interested in their smart phones than offering any sort of customer service. When we were sat in the lobby having a drink the phones were going for over 5 minutes while the man on reception was texting on his mobile. If I were management here I would seriously consider employing staff who wanted to work there.
Overall disappointed and if I could get a staff members attention I would have complained.

The lady at the entrance was not very friendly. The rooms are ok, but too expensive. Internet (WLAN) works extremly bad here. Actually you can not use it, because it is so slow. I can not understand why Mercure does not improve it.

Some of the hotel décor (especially public areas) is a bit functional but the rooms a large, clan and the beds fantastically comfortable. Very quiet - completely soundproofed. I particularly want to congratulate the fantastic staff on reception who as we queued up to pay were having to deal with some very rude, abusive and unpleasant guests but their politeness and professionalism did not falter even though as I understood it one of the young ladies was on her first day.

We chose this hotel as it was close to the ferry terminal for a day trip to Morocco. The accommodation was spacious, quiet and the bed was comfortable.
We had room service one evening it was okay.
The location of the hotel was opposite the harbour and it was in close proximity to the shopping centre, restaurants etc.
Good place for a short stay, reception staff extremely helpful and spoke English.
If you are thinking about doing a short visit to Morocco by ferry this is the place to stay!
