What People are saying

Nice view and location.

Staff were very helpful at check in and all other times as my French is questionable and their English is very good. Our room was quite comfortable and the view from our window was the Cathedral, so quite impressive. Only had one night but really enjoyed ourselves, beautiful walk along the river, nice restaurants and bars, all added to the experience.

Comfortable, good price an d well positioned

On what was our first visit to Amiens we used Trip advisor to select this hotel for its central location and good reviews. It was easy to find but note that it DOES NOT have its own parking. There is a 10 min wait allowance outside the hotel and then you are directed to a public multi storey about 100 yds away. Unfortunately it has a low height allowance and we could not enter in a Freelander with a roof box on. There is plenty of local street metered parking and it is free on Sunday.
Our room was big, warm, clean and very comfortable. The bath/shower was a tad difficult to enter and exit because the bathroom was so small. We didnt use the hotel’s facilities but ventured out to the nearby cafes and the many restaurants on the river. In October we had no problem finding somewhere to eat. It was a real advantage t have all of this within a few minutes easy walk. The cathedral is just opposite too.
We used this hotel as a base for visiting WW1 sites. The Somme front line is an easy 30 min almost straight drive and we found Mametz Wood, Lochnagar Crater ( le grande mine) and Thiepval very easily. Perfect really, other than for the parking which was a little bit of a nuisance.

Stayed 1 night as per a WW1 battlefields tour. Very close to the cathedral but a bit of a walk to restaurants. Had to request a change of rooms as first room a/c not working and as a warm day needed the cooler air. Had window which opened onto small street and could see the cathedral. Not mentioned but the cathedral has a light show at night so check with hotel staff as to the timing as this may change. A lot of us were not advised so missed out which was disappointing. Buffet breakfast included which was very nice. Enjoyed the stay.

For those Amiens nights

A good hotel in a great position, with the cathedral near by, the river side and shops not far. Our room had cathedral views from the balcony, being on the top floor. It smelt slightly smokey, but we were able to air it with the doors onto the balcony. The reception desk was helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice, although we would have liked more hot options. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before heading out for the evening. Car parking is in a presumably council run underground car park just around the corner and is quite reasonable for a couple of nights.

Highly Rated

Central location overlooking Notre Dame Cathedral, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, restaurant serves freshly prepared local dishes, all sightseeing shopping and restaurants in walking distance, car parking around the corner. All good, highly rated.
