This was not our first time at this hotel and we were surprised, that it was not as clean as it used to be. We were in room 205. The rack next to the suitcase rack was dusty, so that my dark clothes which I placed there, turned out to be grey. Hallway carpet was in need to be vacuumed and cleaned. On the upside, breakfast was good and the location is very good.

Nice and comfortable rooms. Good parking facilities. Very quiet, and still very central near the seaside. The breakfast was the best I've ever had on a hotel. You could find everything, and very delicious.

Generally good and well equipped hotel in Bregenz, Austria. Very well situated for the "Festspiele" as it is within 200 meters of theatre. Clean rooms. Worth mentioning the nice breakfast buffet. However, the check in is very inefficient, they asked to fill a form whereas they had those data (they in principle don't even need) already twice being in the reservation file and in the club membership file.

I asked for gluten free dinner and was told by the friendly waitress that the only thing they could make for me was aspargus with bernaise sauce. But she told me several times that that was very tasty. I felt it was too little for dinner and asked if they could make some fish with that. She asked the kitchen and came back and said that yes, they could make trout. I am still not sure if it actually was trout I got.
The meal arrived quickly. The fish was a little overcooked and mostly tasteless. The five pieces of potato did not taste fresh. The bernaise was very foamy and thin. And the worst part was the aspargus which was huge and very wet. I didn't even manage to eat half of it.
The waitress came around and asked me how I liked the food. I said it was wet. She answered, "Oh, ok."
This cost me 27,5 euros. I told the waitress it was very expensive and asked what the fish would normally cost. She said 22,5 but this was more expensive because it was made especially for me. She appologized several times for the meal and said there was nothing she could do as the chef decided it had to be this way.
The food didn't taste nice. I couldn't even finish it to feel full. And it was hugely overpriced.

It's a nice hotel in nice surroundings. I can't think of any other adjective than "nice" and that's the problem. Nowadays there's so much competition that you have to provide something "extra" that would stay in mind and encourage the tourist to come back.
