Overall the staff was friendly upon arriving at the hotel, the location was good, however being right on the promenade was not essential for our stay in Nice. Our biggest complaint by far was the mattress. The mattress was the worst I have ever experienced in all of my travels thus far. Upon leaving we expressed that an investment in some more comfortable mattresses could be considered, at that point the hotel staff stated that they have foam mattress toppers....seriously that would have been excellent information upon arriving, this was not something I would have assumed an option as no other hotel in my experience had that as an option, so finding out after night after night of terrible sleep was a bit of a slap on the face so to speak. Very unimpressed with that situation. The shower was also awful, water would leak all over the floor due to a poor seal in between the tub and the glass door. The room was poorly stocked with hangers and baggage holders, the toilet paper was cheap as well as the toiletries. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Nice.

This is a small hotel located in a prime position but on a busy road which is noisy but don't worry the hotel has double double glazing which however means that you cannot sit on the balcony only stand but due to traffic noise you wouldn't really want to sit on the balcony and relax. It really is well located with Tourist Information to one side of the hotel and bus station to the other. Another plus is the 98 bus to the airport stops right outside.
The room was as expected not luxurious but very comfortable and very clean with a lovely bathroom, refrigerator, TV with English channels and free safe. The bed is huge and very comfortable.
The breakfast room and food was great and a huge selection of foods to suit anyone. We usually had the cooked breakfast and the scrambled egg was the best we have had anywhere, nice and moist. The room as well furnished and never felt too busy when choosing your food. Choice of coffee/tea from machines which was very good as well.
The very friendly Frenchman in reception was particularly nice always greeting us in a jolly fashion and knew who we were at all times and he was very genuine. Much appreciated him as I thought I might have to use my school French to get along.
Would recommend for a short trip to Nice.
We had trips to Monte Carlo by train at a cost of 6 euro each for a return and a trip in the bus 400 to St Paul de Vence which is an old hillside town that has been taken over by Artists and Galleries it was a very nice morning. I think the cost for 3 euro for a return. Worth a mention is that the train to Monte Carlo has 3 levels of seating, that was a surprise!

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The front desk were always friendly and helpful especially Jean Jacques - a very funny, friendly and helpful man.
I had a patio room which was very nice. There was no view to speak of but I was aware of that prior to my arrival. The room and bathroom were a very good size and always spotlessly clean. The room provided everything needed including a safe and a small refrigerator. My only small complaint was the quality of the towels - very thin and rough.
My rate included breakfast which was served in a delightful room with partial ocean views. It is a buffet breakfast with a wide selection to choose from.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel for price, quality and location. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again !

Stayed for three nights in October 2017. We took a train from Lyon to Nice and reached Nice at 8 PM. We could get a cab from the station to the hotel which is a five minutes drive for 11 Euros. The check in was quick. The lobby is very small with two small lifts. We had booked a sea facing room which turned out to be exactly as shown in photographs. It had a small balcony facing the Promenade with a beautiful view of the sea. Early morning is absolutely beautiful when you draw the curtains and have the blue sea right in front with joggers and cyclists busy on the Promenade. The hotel is very conveniently located with the town square a 15 mins walk. As soon as you step out and turn right you have a selection of restaurants to choose from. The room was spacious with a lounge chair, Coffee and also Nesspro machine. We had a king bed which was comfortable. The bathroom is also sufficiently large. The 42 inch flat screen TV surprisingly showed a few English channels which was welcome in France. We had our breakfast one day at the restaurant on the first floor. They had a good variety but it costs 18.90 euros per person . On other days we had it at the restaurants in the lane outside. The airport is a 20 mins drive from the Hotel. Overall we had an excellent stay and Nice was fascinating.

This hotel is well located. it is across the street from the Mediterranean Sea and extensive wide boardwalk. You can walk to many restaurants, the old town, and many pedestrian walkways and parks. The rooms are average, a good size, a bit dated and the beds are a bit hard but ok The walk from the train station is 20 minutes - walk towards the sea. The service is good although I would rather have separate shampoo and conditioner supplies versus all in one shower gel. The bus to the airport is just outside the hotel making it very convenient.
