Dabernonon 24/05/2017 21:13My wife anI always try to find a Mercure when in France, and increasingly anywhere else in Europe. They are always clean, we'll run and efficient. Cannot recommend the brand enough. Don't miss out everyone -give them a try.
Very friendly hotel
Pat Hon 13/04/2017 18:57Surprisingly quiet surroundings foe a hotel in the middle of town and close to the railway station! All the staff were very welcoming. Prices for food and alcohol were fair. Food very acceptable in the restaurant .
Breakfast buffet was varied and well set out..
Good new decor. Very clean everywhere .

Good hotel, poor restaurant
Olle Aon 10/04/2017 21:13The room was a good size and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not very good, I ordered a medium (a point) steak and got a well done. I asked for a medium one again and got a practically raw one, senior according to the chef, that I had not asked for. I gave up and ate it surprised that it was very dry. Pity, the hotel is good for an overnight stay if you avoid the restaurant.
Great breakfast, proper service
Jeremy Bon 17/03/2017 10:42Second time here... totally proper, better than one would expect in a standard French town. Everyone gets the breakfast and eats everything they serve. Will be back with family next time in Niort. I would recommend for French or foreigners.
Good hotel
Olav Ton 20/02/2017 14:23As most of the mercure hotels, the rooms are good. Nicely located close to the Center and walking distance from the train station. Staff is friendly but as almost always in France foreign languages can bean issue at the reception.
I had a good stay.
