This hotel is very basic. My husband is currently staying there and pays on a weekly basis, as he works the pipeline. They run a little deal for the pipeline workers so a lot of them are staying there. For the most part it's suiting the need. Seems safe and clean. It's in a good central location to whatever he may need. He is happy with it. I'm not sure I would be loving it so much, but I think it's fine for these working guys, they aren't very high maintenance!

Hotel looks rather rundown and seedy on exterior, but offers essential and basic services: clean room, a/c, decent tv, shower with hot running water. Also had mini-fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Horrible location. disgusting room. we found blood on our sheets. i would hate to see what that room looks like under a black light. there was a loose pit-bull in the parking lot killing rats and the owner of the place was feeding the thing. there was a strong chemical smell coming from a room down the hall which later turned out to be a man cooking meth who was arrested that day. also bring your own alarm clock there is not one in your room and if you ask for a wakeup call its a 2 dollar fee. outragous. if you have a family with you for the love of god don't bring them to the merit inn. your better off locking your windows and sleeping in you car

The Merit Inn is a wonderful newly renovated family owned hotel. With a very friendly staff, clean rooms and facility made my stay from home a truly wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, the convenience store which had everything one needs when staying away from home was an added bonus. The Merit Inn is truly a “Home Away from Home.” Thank – You!

Room was crappy, found body hair in the bed. Price was good. Within walking distance. Title of this review says it all.
