We booked our stay for 2 days 3 nights through our travel agent. And we were booked to this hotel. All our expectations were dropped when we entered to the room. The room is spacious but filthy. The carpet was dirty and there was foul smell in the room. Not a minute one could sit in the room. The bathroom was also very dirty and unhygienic. There were no proper light also. The sheets and towels provided were not clean. The food provided was infact good. We shifted to another hotel the next day itself. It was such a horrible experience. The room and ambience was not worth the money. We really had a very bad experience.

I stayed this hotel on last December 2015 . Its a blank booking through Makemytrip App because its happened by a sudden change on our plan . By searching we found a Resort on Munnar Town . I only suggest people who stay for 1 day . Resort rooms are average & old . I am not recommend for couples. I feel nostalgia because we feel like we came back home after a long break ....its a very old resort rooms very old "look like a old Tharavada . services are very poor .
when we stay there we requested for just extra towel its comes after everyones bath. its only good for bachelors or group of friends because its on town ex. restaurants & Liquor store so close just 5 minutes walking distance .

I booked a holiday package through Greenline travels for 4-5 days. First place to visit was Munnar where we have been given accommodation in Mermaid Hotel. Hotel was good, clean and present in a nice location. Easily accessible to the market and restaurant. Would definitely recommend to others.

This hotel located at Munnar Town. About 2 days ago i stayed here with my friends. Rooms & bathrooms are Spacious and clean. Good atmosphere.They dont have restaurant.But thattukadas, hotels are walking distance from Hotel.Mermaid was quite good looking . Enjoyable.

The rooms are old and shabby. The furniture and carpet smell of moss and fungi. Infested with insects. Poor service. We had intruders in the bathroom in the morning-- Big LIZARDS and SNAILS. Could not find a single room in any other hotel in Munnar, so we could not shift.
