Great night after a long journey!
Paul Son 19/09/2017 23:23Stayed here on my way to Nome. Arrived late and left early - only really looking for a comfortable bed, which I certainly found! Staff were friendly and helpful plus I got a free geography lesson from the owner in the shuttle back to the airport in the morning. A very interesting and informative lady.

MEma26qtson 21/08/2017 04:38Searched high & low for a good price! As a discount was great & cheaper price through the Merrill Field site itself than Trivago or Hotels.com. Driver picked us up within 20 minutes, go to outer lane where busses pick up passengers, only cars use lanes closest to baggage claim. 2 story building with no elevators. Very willing to drop off at other shopping places if you ask. Nice staff. Beds had plastic on covers that I didn't like & hard mattresses... Breakfast was ok. Great price & staff.
Good value, Clean Accommodations, Friendly Staff
skiqueen73on 16/08/2017 18:08We paid just $100 during high-season for a last minute reservation and found Merrill Field Inn to be a good value. We had concerns at check in, but the owners quickly answered our questions and allowed us to see the room before confirming. The room was tidy and recently updated and included a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
We felt safe and the property appeared to be well monitored. Additionally the owners offered to drive us anywhere needed and provided timely transport to the airport at a very early hour. We would recommend and will likely stay again.
I have just one recommendation. The beds have bedbug covers on the mattresses, which we appreciate as we always check for signs of bedbugs. However, the covers are noisy and could use a thicker mattress pad so the sleeper can't feel the cover through the sheets.

Anita Hon 08/08/2017 20:56Was not as noisy as I had expected considering where it is located. Room was clean and the hotel seemed safer than the Econolodge that I stayed at earlier in my trip, and it is just down the street. I had a problem with the door but got help right away and it was fixed in a timely matter. Would it be my number one choice, no, but for the money it was just fine.
Merrill Field Inn works for me
John Son 04/08/2017 04:38Ten years ago I stayed at the Merrill Field Inn most of the summer. When I returned to Anchorage this summer I looked forward to phoning the desk to ask them to come pick us up. We were not disappointed. In addition to airport pickup and drop off, their shuttle service includes trips to town. There is a convenient self service laundromat, included breakfast and all hours coffee and juices. Not fancy but clean, pleasant and reasonably priced. Works for me.
