Excellent hotel and restaurant
juancho0969on 31/05/2017 16:38My wife and I stayed there May 25 through May 27. Excellent accommodations. Beautiful antique hotel and yet very comfortable. Excellent service. And we found the restaurant to have the best food we ate while in Puebla. We even took a cooking class where the chef showed us how to make Genuine Mole Poblano. Truly delicious. And on Friday night while eating dinner in the courtyard we were treated to a wonderful young woman singing while her father played guitar. Her voice was angelic. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Richard_Touon 24/05/2017 20:26Location is nice, staff is friendly, but the Air Conditioning did not work in our room and to add insult to injury, the smell and fumes from the kitchen fill the whole space.
So do not be fooled by nice photos and stay away from this hotel. Room was dusty and furniture old. not a comfortable arrangement at all. Sorry!
Authentic Puebla
Martha Mon 14/04/2017 00:28Sacristia is a very small, very old and very friendly hotel situated in the trendy part of downtown Puebla. Painted mexican pink and full of wonderful antiques (all for sale by the way) it is fun and funky. Great food and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A great location to explore the many museums and restaurants that Puebla has to offer.
A lovely location; quirky and different
Marilyn Fon 08/04/2017 00:39This hotel is quite different from others. A simple exterior belies the antiques for sale, the attractive restaurant and quirky rooms that open on to this exotic courtyard.
Staff were helpful especially with bags up the stairs to the room.
My only caution would be to those contemplating staying, if you are a very broad person, especially those with a big rear end, the lavatory in the bathroom, ingeniously squeezed between the shower and the wall, might be a too narrow space to accommodate you!
I also wished I had reordered the bedding so that I could have slept on top of the comfortable doona as I found the mattress too firm for my liking. ( Room 9).
The sweets left for us were utterly delicious. The bathroom products were delightful. The breakfast and one other meal delicious.
This hotel exceeded expectations and I would happily stay there again.
Good choice for the center of Puebla
Jane Hon 27/03/2017 19:34We have stayed in a lot of hotels around Mexico, and this one is delightful. A colonial house adapted as a hotel, the room we had featured 20 foot ceilings, a canopy bed, a sitting area with antique couch, two chairs and a coffee table, an antique wardrobe, a dresser, a couple other antique pieces and it wasn't crowded. Oh, and a small balcony. The bath was accessed through a hobbit door which was thoughtfully padded with covered foam around the opening, to prevent scrapes against the metal frame. The bath was spacious with great water pressure. As we were checking out, we spied a wonderful vase full of gladiolas. Within minutes the woman on the desk had ascertained the price (very reasonable), and wrapped it securely. It turned out to be one of the best things we found in Puebla, so keep your eye open. Staff was gracious in keeping our bags after checkout so we could wander a bit more. Parking was off site and relatively convenient. Solid choice of a place to stay in the center.
