Helpful and OK
Imabizzybeeon 09/08/2015 17:43I stayed here after arriving on the bus at 2:30 in the morning. It is NOT within walking distance from the bus station, and I was fortunate to get a taxi with help from locals on the bus. The room was quite small, but comfortable. There is free WIFI. Breakfast was pretty basic but not bad. I was grateful that they did not have a problem with me arriving at a strange hour, which many hotels in Spain don't accommodate.
Very, very basic
Connor Bon 09/05/2015 17:11We only stayed in this hotel for one night, while traveling to Vigo. This hotel is easy to find, is central to Lugo and has private parking. The rooms are very basic and there is a strange smell that hovers around the rooms. There is no wifi, but the receptionist very kindly lent me a cable to connect my laptop in the room. There is also a free breakfast, but i would avoid it as its very poor.
Basic, central and noisy

We had an apartment style room with a kitchen with no cups, kettle or utensils, and was the noisiest room we have ever stayed in, until 3.00 am on the Friday night we heard the lift move, the guests peeing, flushing and finally running the taps!
On the positive side it was cheap, we didn't have to use the 7.5 Euro parking as the street was a fairly clear and it was a short walk up to the charming old town.
Breakfast was a coffee, glass of juice and a croissant.
As I said we may have been unlucky however if you are poor, deaf and don't eat much breakfast this place is for you!
Friend, but basic
LoneBriton 22/07/2013 19:24Helpful staff but the room was the smallest I had in my entire trip, with no air conditioning and a window opening on to a central space - not very attractive.
The parking garage was also small, but on one level so easy to access.

It's a bit of a steep climb up to the city centre, but it's quite close
Good accomodation, very central
statetrooper61on 27/09/2010 15:44The Metropol is located approx 10 minutes by foot from Lugo's City Center. Being located very central we could not hear any noise from the street at night. The rooms are appartment-like including a full kitchen. Although it could need some refurbishment, the service is perfect and the rooms are okay for a one-star rating. Breakfast is served in the bar on the ground floor. A computer with internet access is available free of charge in the lobby.
