Lovely long lunch; excellent wines and food; superb service
SamandHectoron 26/02/2016 14:27Husband and I went for a nice long and boozy end of ski holiday lunch. We could not have chosen a better restaurant. We asked for plenty of time between courses and this was no problem. Delicious food - highlights were salmon tagliatelle, BBQ lamb skewers and exceptional Tiramisu - I have had to try quite a few of these this week just to be accurate, but this one was right up there! Valpolicella Ripasso was stunning and still reasonably priced. Wish we had discovered this place earlier in the week.
Spa visit after snowboarding
thewanderer2016on 05/02/2016 00:10Attractive, modern building, very few people around in hotel public areas which seemed a little strange! Spa is downstairs, and after some initial difficulty with communications (little English spoken) for 25 euros had up to 2.5hrs in the spa. Loan of towels and slippers included and a deposit may be required. It appears very clean as you have to leave shoes and coat outside. Small changing area then access to spa. Giant Jacuzzi with three features (can even swim a bit in it), sauna, steam room and various features such as a chill room and walking pebbles. Nice, new looking and attractive inside. A nice antidote for my pains and strains - unfortunately got a cold the next day!
Biker Friendly Hotel
Stephen Son 23/11/2015 16:47I was coming off a long day of riding and was looking for a biker friendly hotel, this was a good choice. The hotel had a underground parking garage. The rooms were huge with a private balcony. There was a steam shower that just melted my sore and stiff muscles. The restaurant only serves breakfast, which is included. There are several restaurants with in a short walk. The staff was most helpful with their limited English, but it was all good. There is a bar for your libations. There is an indoor pool and spa, but I did not partake. I would recommend staying here, it was quiet and off the main road.
