Almost everything rates this hotel as excellent! Except there is no fridge or microwave in the room. I think that "resorts" leave these amenities out to force people to go down to their restaurants. But I find it is always nice to have a cold drink in the room or to be able to heat up a cup of tea (or food) at one's convenience.
I paid $163.45 total on November 16 by advance reservation to the hotel itself.

The Staff that works there is very kind, the only recommendation is that they have a bellboy to receive the suitcases.. Very soft beds, the pool area with jacuzzi wonderful and the casino very well laid out

We were local floridian's looking for a convenient place for parking and shuttle to the cruise port. The hotel itself while very smoky provided a clean room. The shuttle to the port was timely as promised, the return trip was a nightmare. We were told the shuttle would arrive at 11. My husband called and confirmed they were coming, yes was the response. Waited a half hour, still no shuttle, another call, this time we were told the driver was caught I traffic from an accident and running late. Another half hour later, still no shuttle, another call, yes, he is coming, caught in traffic because of an accident. Another half hour later no shuttle, yes he is coming. Another couple approached us also waiting for the shuttle, they also called and were told they had no record of any pick ups for that date and location. Another phone call, told the shuttle had come earlier and picked up a couple. Another phone call, they were sending another driver. Finally 3 1/2 hours after exiting the cruise ship and waiting, a driver arrived. He indeed confirmed a driver came earler and was driving an unmarked white Lincoln Town car. We finally arrived back at the casino to our car 4 hours after leaving the cruise ship. We spoke to one of the managers and expressed our frustration with being lied to that no driver was ever stuck in traffic and we sat for 3 hours. I asked them to reimburse us for the room fee to compensate for their poor service. He called us back after we finally arrived home and offered a free lunch at their casino, not a good faith effort on their part, a $10 lunch we would have to drive 85 miles to get. We will never return back.

A very nice hotel & Casino. Upon our arrival for check-in the line was pretty long, about 12-15 people ahead of us. We got there early, about 11:30 or so. The staff was good enough at their job that we only waited about 20 minutes.
The gentleman that helped us did a great job because as I said earlier we were early so the room we reserved was not yet available. He kept checking as the info was constantly being updated by the housekeeping staff. He got us in a room, that while not what we had initially reserved was just as good.
The casino had a nice variety of slots and tables, it was not huge but not a dump either. My wife & I both actually came out ahead, not a normal occurrence. We ate in one of their restaurants and bought a few things to take to our room. The food was above average, the prices were reasonable and all the staff we came into contact with were very nice. Most were smiling and appeared to be happy with what they were doing.
They also have a FREE shuttle service that goes to the Port of Miami. It dropped a lot of us off at our specific cruise terminals (not counting a tip for the driver). Be sure to notify them of your need to use the shuttle when making your reservation so you get on their list.
We plan on staying here every time we go on a cruise out of Miami in the future and we are avid cruisers. I wish we had found this property sooner.

I stayed at this facility before going on a cruise and at first, my room was a little musty. Nancy walked with me to two rooms until, I was placed in a room that was much better. At the check in Desk, Yolanda and Yosemitth were absolutely amazing!!! Once my cruise was completed, I returned to the hotel and these ladies blessed me all over again.
The free ride to the cruise port was a dream!!! Thank you!
