Lovely hotel in the centre of the town located near the theatre and Cervantes Museum. We stayed there for 5 nights and were able to relax in the bar area after our return from going out some of the evenings. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was excellent. Convenient for travel to other areas around Madrid.

Arrived for a week long buisnes trip during April. From first arrival the service was spot on. We arrived late and greeted by polite staff who were happy to explain the local amenities.
Rooms are spacious, and very clean. The cleaners to a spectacular job, with clean towels and bedding provided daily. This service was over and above.
Lovely bar for a drink, and the tapas is spot on. Plenty of choice during breakfast, with good coffee served, not like the usual cheap coffee served at other hotels.
All in all a great hotel, with ample location if you want to travel into Madrid centre.

A very friendly place right in the centre of town, very conveniently located. Great food too. There was a problem with the wifi one night, but that was resolved reasonably quickly. Recommended for both business and tourism.

First of all, the staff are so friendly, and really helpful. Not everyone speaks English, but they do their best to understand you if they don't. The position is excellent - very close to all the historical areas in Alcala de Henares, and about 10/15 min walk to the station to get a train to Madrid.
Rooms - the room I had was quite small; it had a single bed, a desk, and plenty of storage. However, I did struggle with where to put my case. My room had a Juliette balcony, though my colleagues did not. It was en suite. Though small, it had enough space for what I needed. The rooms had music playing in them during the day, but there is a control to turn it down/off. A bottle of water was left on the first day, though it would have been great to have that every day. There was no tea/coffee machine. There is no safe, and the doors are locked with old fashioned keys.
Breakfast - cold breakfast of cakes/pastries, toast, Iberian ham etc, as well as drinks. It was perfectly adequate.
There is a bar with bar snacks, and the restaurant was really good. There is a lift in the hotel. I found the hotel to be very quiet except for 1 night, and also except for local bells that rang at 8am every morning, including on Saturday! Though this is obviously not the fault of the hotel!! They are also happy for you to leave your luggage with them if needed. On arrival we were given a voucher for tapas and wine at a local bar/restaurant which was a nice gesture. Don't be alarmed if you get back to the hotel at night and the front door is shut - just ring the bell and the night porter will let you in.
I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend staying here if you need to be in Alcala.

This little two star hotel is next door to the home of Miguel de Cervantes and is in the heart of the historic part of Alcala de Henares. We stayed in room 102 which overlooks the street. It is a small room with a good bathroom. The double bed is small but comfortable. The room is spotless clean. The check in was good and the staff are polite and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel because it is quite expensive and the promised free drink on arrival never eventuated, however these are minor complaints which don't detract from our overall level of satisfaction.
The hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the station and from there it is a forty minute train trip into Madrid.
