If you are going to tirupathi with friends ,family or alone if you ask me which hotel is nice,I would say Minerva grand as my option to stay and to have food and moreover it is quite near to the main bus station of tirupathi.The ambience at the restaurant is quite good and rooms are perfect I would rate it 3.5/5.

We went to appalayagunta temple and while returning to tirupati we stopped at Minerva grand for lunch as it was Sunday and there were some functions too the hotel was so busy as we were only two we can manage to get the table with out waiting we ordered for meals I've got a lentil soup with some papad as a welcome drink then the thali with sweet and dal and pooris, two curries others we were enjoying sweet rice came and Andhra favourite Gutti Vankaya was that day special so tasty and the list went on and at the last finushed with fruit the food was awesome and satisfying we both enjoyed it

Stayed in imperial room for 1 night. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was clean , spacious and v. Comfortable. But there was no window so no view.
Check in and check out was smooth.
The Minerva coffee shop was excellent. The breakfast buffet was superb. Also, lunch and dinner was good. Full credit to the team.
Arranged vehicle to thirumala. Driver was knowledgeable and helpful.
Centrally located. Easily accessible to all important destinations.
Definitely recommendable..

we had a birthday [party of one of my friend in restaurant, they served cocktails also, we had nice food and cocktails, service people also very friendly and well trained, it is theone of the best hotel in tirupati.

We visited the Minerva coffee shop for dinner on 24th. The reception desk was quick to allocate us a table. We were experiencing faint smell of insect repellent, hence requested for change of table which was turned down for some strange reason. The starters were taking time, hence we ordered for main course well in advance. We were made to wait for half an hour. Then we were told that due to an error order was not placed. 10 minutes later we were served Dal fry which we never ordered for. When I went to speak to the manager, he came down to our table & apologized to everyone. We were offered Dal Fry as complimentary dish. The food quality was not that great. The steam rice seemed not so freshly made. Our dinner was totally spoilt. I will never visit this restaurant again.
