I went there two days ago on my way back from Spain. The hotel is situated close to the train station, but on the main line street which is very convenient if you want to go to the city centre. I was also in this hotel in 2009 but this time it is nicely furnished, with new bathrooms and TV with some 30 channels. When I uncovered the bed sheet there were a lot of hairs on the mattress which means that the maids did not vacuum clean or clean the mattress . If we talk about the stuff there is one receptionist who also takes care about the bar if you want a drink. Breakfast is poor. Only one piece of butter, jam and one croissant and a cup of coffee. If you are used to strong breakfast you have to go to boulangerie afterwards. Some rooms have extra view over the street and some look over the littered roofs. So if you are tired take this hotel.

Rooms/bathrooms are dirty, no working air conditioning ( +30 degrees outside), afraid to take shoes of and step on the carpet. The staff just shrugs ( thats what you get type of attitude). We wanted to sit down outside on their terrace because my mother could not walk anymore, a little after 00h, we got kicked out rudely, with the front door slammed in our faces and lights got shut out, with the night concierge, mumbling something rude at us. Way too over priced, not even good enough for kids who just want to party. Just horrible!!!!
The worst thing is there are so many bad comments, and nothing gets done about this, its a rip of, and the hotel should be closes for a proper cleaning, im not even taking about a whole new make over.

Only one night at Nizza,hotel Mirabeau,but it was enough for me. There was a problem with my toilet. I met a bug in bathroom. I jad nod normal room number,just a paper with number. The recepcionist was kind in one second,and nervous in the another. The front of the hotel is beautiful, my friends said that their rooms was ok.

The hotel is located in the city center, near the tram station but far from the see shore. The staff is helpful but those are all the good things I can say. The rooms have less than basic equipment. Even fridge they don't have which is really a shortage in summer. Breakfast is really poor. I definitely won't stay there anymore.

The stars for this place are mostly location, but that's what you want in Nice, right? I was with a school group of 30, so I think that's what they cater to. My aircon worked well and that was all I really cared about. Some rooms included balconies, which were pretty cool. The oddities here are the tootsie roll style pillows that are made in with the bedding and the fact that only one outlet in the room still works after you turn out the light. However, it is close to the train station- turn left out the main entrance and take a left on the main drag. Maybe an 8 minute walk- and about 20 minutes walk to the beach, where you can shop the whole way! Breakfast is a croissant and a roll, with cereal and apple sauce available. If you don't want that many carbs, you'll want to take your breakfast elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful.
