Stayed here during computex show 2017. Been to Taipei many times, first time staying at the Miramar Garden hotel.
Very clean tidy and pleasant staff throughout.
The buffet breakfast offers a good choice including eggs cooked to order, the omelette is very nice, I can also recommend the French toast yum.
Location wise it's great for a short trip to around the 101 and also Nangang exhibition hall but there is very little around the hotel itself without a walk, but anyone that's been to Taipei knows taxis aren't too expensive and there are usually taxis parked just on the run up to the hotel that the staff will call up when you want to travel.
The bar closes early though which is a shame both in the ground floor and the 2nd floor bar.

very lousy room service menu, lack of selections.
level 1 and 2 cafe was not available until 5:30pm , wasn't not inform at all .
very disappointed by the room service menu and lack of information.
other than that all is good

There is only 1 cafe / bar at this hotel on the 2nd floor. Not very welcoming and the staff totally untrained for the job of serving quests. Certain snack foods are time restricted after 6pm which is crazy for in house guest. It is too small for the size of hotel and that for me spoilt my stay at the hotel which for all other services were up to my expectations. Will not stay at this hotel again! Disappointed Gold Card Member of Accor Group.

Surprisingly good place to stay in Taipei for family leisure or work. Not many hotels can handle diverse needs such effortlessly
Good buffet breakfast
Very nice outdoor swimming pool but temperature controlled so it's comfortable
More than functional gym and a frat jacuzzi and steam sauna
Highly recommended for stay and must try this.

We have booked a business room with lounge access and we have never had in our experiences such a poor business lounge like in this hotel. During the " Happy Hour " there was no choice in food and alcoholic beverage. Only white and red wine and when one bottle was finished we had to ask for a new one and it arrived after long time or not at all or the ask to pay because the wine for the happy hour is finished and they must take an new bottle from the restaurant and this wine is more expensive. Ridiculous !
The rooms are spacious but to have a nice view is a matter of luck as it depends at wich floor and witch side you are. If your are unlucky you look on the highway with a lot of traffic and noise.
Breakfast every day the same (in 8 days) no various, and with music in the breakfast room very very unpleasant, every day the same cuban music and very aloud.
Next MRT station about 5 minutes, but you must cross a big frequented street under 2 highways.
Service okay, but many person from the personal spoke very bad english .
We ask two times to speak with the general manager and every time the same answer " He is not available you can talk only to me I am the duty manger."
For our experience we cannot recommend this hotel for a stay in Taipeh.
