Good but in need of a refurb

Stayed in this hotel/pub a few times when visiting the O2. It's in a great location in centre of Greenwich. Less than 10 minutes to the O2 by water taxi. The pub is quirky and has a good range of local beers. My last visit I found the room looking a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. I notice their website shows different rooms to the one we had, they look much nicer! Continental breakfast ok but not a lot of choice. Because the pub is so central there is a lot of road noise.
Convenient for Greenwich center

Room was Ok and clean. No parking at this hotel which could be an issue. Continental breakfast was minimal but good enough. Full english breakfast at extra charge was copious and tasty. Pub under the rooms has nice atmosphere and very lively with live music
Not a lot of plusses really

Booked here for two nights whilst working at ExCel.
Location close to Cutty Sark DLR station is good and the pub of the venue is half decent but that's it really.
Pokey room, carpet quite grubby.
Slow rickety, rattling lift.
I was leaving early both mornings and water was just about warm at sink for a shave.
Shower was HOT but with very little water pressure. I could not reduce the temperature of the water. The controls are positioned behind a door that opens one side only so you have to actually get in the shower before truning the water on.
I could not access the free wifi from my room (one bar reception only).
I was on third floor overlooking pub garden and was awoken at half past midnight one night by a very loud group of people in the graden who did not shut up until 2am. Since the bar closed at midnight I can only assume this was staff having a late drink.
Great location, beautiful building, bit quirky, not to everybody's taste

Super grade 2 listed building, right in the heart of Greenwich. Located above a nice old pub was a plus for us. Room was spacious and clean, staff were all friendly and helpful.
Some oddities which people may not like; reception involves attracting the attention of the bar staff in the pub, likewise getting access from the bar to the hotel . The bathroom was a great example of style over function; the washbasin had a super tap which sloshed water all over the floor. The shower (which was over a rather high sided bath for us to climb over) was splendidly powerful and also delivered copious amounts of water to the floor.
We expected traffic noise, as the beautiful sash windows are single glazed (maybe because of the grade 2 listing?) but it was not too bad, and for most of the night it was relatively quiet. More annoying was the constant hum of the kitchen extractor fan from 7 am to 11pm. We had room 105, maybe rooms at the front would not have this.
Disappointing that the breakfast included in the price was only served to 9.30 - we were too lazy to make the effort, but imagine it would have been nice - the meals we had in the pub were very good. (Tip - Cafe Rouge opposite does a great breakfast at a more civilised hour.)
We were warm and comfortable in November, but imagine the room would be far too hot in the summer
Simply awful

No way to lock door. No phone in room. Room shook as (frequent) buses passed. Traffic noise. Ghastly decor. Smelled like a minicab. Light in bathroom not working. Staff demanded pay on arrival, before seeing room (refused). Breakfast cutlery dirty. Stair carpet dirty. Massively overpriced.
