This is a very good value for Money hotel in Bandhavgarh. The hotel staff is very active and they arrange the Safaries etc for the guests very fast and efficiently.
The food is very good and the rooms are well appointed. Hot water is available for bath and there is plenty of space available for children to play. The hotel arranges a Tribal dance for the entertainment of the guests

I had recently stayed at Mogali Jungle Resort at Bandhavgarh from 30 May to 01 Jun 2017.
Let me start with the fact that it a Jungle Resort and visitors are expected not to look for the facilities that a regular resort in a city offers.
With that let me get on to the review. First thing, this place is about a kilometer beyond Tala in a semi-jungle of their own. It thus goes without saying that if you have your own vehicle it helps. Otherwise this resort tries to provide pick up and drop using their vehicle but it may not be available some times.
As for safaris, the safari Gipsy would pick you up from this place.
Despite being in jungle of a sort, the place is beautiful with various pond with lotus, wilderness, good rooms with tasteful decor and a clean swimming pool, a recreational one.
All rooms are cottages (set of two side by side) mostly ground floor but few are on first floor. They have 31 cottages according to their staff.
Air conditioning is available and so seems to be power backup. The staff is good, aware and responsive of your needs and eager to make one's stay comfortable.
Food is simple yet tasteful and does not have too much of oil or condiments. Time keeping for all events including meals is good but they will provide you meals beyond time if they have been informed (may be when uninformed too but I am not sure).
Staff including Shri Anuj Singh, their local head, Shamim, Prem and Bhanu who is their catering incharge are generally up and about to help the guest. Their numerous staff also are sincere and go about their work peacefully.
Sleep.quality is good. In general this place is definately value for money with a strong caution. This place is for people who want comfort but are mindful that it is a jungle Resort and thus not looking for phone or TV in their rooms.
A worth place for family outings without disturbance of TV, phone or even Mobile (as most of the time no signal would be available inside your room but signal does come as one steps out of the room)
Recommended for single traveler, couples as well as family holidays.

Its a good resort. Booked through AirBnb, but i think most people use makemytrip and gobibo where they get more options for rooms.
Stay in the superior cottages since they have better linens, mattresses and tv as well.
rooms are cosy and spacious. Highlight of the place is the hospitalitu and yummy food.
Cons
You may need your own vehicle, since the place is 2 km from the Tala gate. So in case the gypsy does not come to pick you, you will have to arrange a separate car. The resort was more than happy to give a bike for ourselves as well by the way.

We were very excited to go to Bandhavgarh and loved the description of this place. At first sight it really pleased us. The property has a jungle ambience. We were a group of 4, two senior citizen couples.
The staff was courteous too, but then what was the problem? The Management! They were rude and impolite. They were trying to fleece people who wanted to visit the National Park and working out deals. Not being able to book a safari is definitely not their fault but telling lies, laughing at us and scorning us was most unacceptable. I have travelled to many places both in India and abroad but have never seen such impolite behaviour. With a change in management this property has huge potential.

Overall the hotel was good and the service was great as well. Only thing which was lagging was the fuenitures. It was pretty old and the bed spread was completely crushed which I did not like. Other than that everything was value for money. Next time I will definitely visit this place provided they keep the bed spread clean n tiny.
