My partner and I recently stayed at Monte Triana for two nights during a weekend city break. We arrived earlier than expected and so reception looked after our bags whilst we went sightseeing – on returning to the hotel to check-in our bags had already been taken to our room. The hotel has excellent facilities including a bar-café, fitness room and free high-speed unlimited wi-fi. Our room was modern, spacious and well-appointed with a large bathroom, a good selection of toiletries (including disposable toothbrushes and hairbrush) and an amazingly comfortable king size bed with a pillow menu. It faced inwards to the Andalusian style courtyard and was very quiet which meant that we had two great nights of sleep (much needed after walking around 20kms each day!). The staff were all exceptional – friendly, super-efficient and always on hand to offer helpful suggestions/tips and assist with bookings. Whilst slightly outside of the city centre the hotel is only a short 20 minute walk across one of two bridges into the historical centre of Seville. The surrounding neighbourhood of Triana has a really vibrant feel to it with a great selection of bars and restaurants which come alive at night. All in all this is an exceptional four star hotel offering great value for money and exceptional levels of customer service.

Stayed for 3 nights in room 213 overlooking the courtyard. The room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning which was included with our 3 night booking. There are other hotels that would be more convenient to the older part of the city and may have saved a few steps but this location allowed us to enjoy the Triana market, purchase some ceramics and have a lovely meal nearby.
The staff at checkin were excellent with suggestions of places to eat and visit.

Things I liked:
The room was clean and quiet
Comfortable bed but not enough pillows - should be in the wardrobe but reception provided us with more.
Breakfast was very good
Staff were friendly and efficient
Location - not central but not too far. There are places to eat locally but most places do not serve evening food until after 21:00hrs.
Things I would have liked:
Soap - no soap provided - you washed your hands with something out of a small bottle (see photo)
Coffee - the room had a kettle, cups, milk and many different types of tea but no coffee anywhere.
Bathrobe - you get some slippers so why not a bathrobe?
On the whole I liked it and would go back.

We stayed three nights here. The hotel is very luxurious and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is only a short walk to the city centre, and we found the Monte Triana area was unexpectedly vibrant with a lot of local restaurants and bars. A great base for exploring Seville.

We can't say enough about this hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The room was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good, we looked forward to it every morning. We enjoyed staying in Triana as an alternative to the touristy section of Sevilla, it was like living with the locals. The Triana section is very vibrant. We will definitely return!
