Stopped off en route to ferry in Bilbao with our two dogs. Warm welcome; dogs very welcome; fabulous room; very reasonably priced; great restaurant (we left dogs in room); the local lamb was to die for. Parking right in front of hotel. Easy access to motorway. Perfect stopover.

Very comfortable hotel. People very friendly. Food excellent. Easy to get to after getting off the boat in Santander.
Safe parking. Rooms all renewed. Have been there twice already. Have great choice of wine, to drink and to buy .

We booked a superior room having looked at the hotel website. There was certainly nothing superior about the room other then it had a good amount of floor space. The room was tired and in need of a refurb. The bathroom was poor, The shower was so small it was difficult to use and the grouting around the tiles was stained. The hotel allows dogs. The people in the room next to us left their dog in their room barking while they went to breakfast which woke us up, we had to go to reception to ask them to tell the guests about this. There was no way of contacting reception from our room. There were some positives - the bed was very comfortable, all the staff were lovely and the food in the restaurent was also very good.

This is a very good place to stay after getting off the Ferry in Bilbao after a two and half hour drive it is just of the motorway.
Booking in at reception was very quick and we were given key too room, room was very well decorated and clean after giving our two dogs a walk we sat outside and had a drink very pleasant. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good we ate of the menu Del day which had really good choices
After the meal we were able to walk the dogs in the extensive hotel gardens. We left the next morning fully refreshed for our drive to our home in southern Spain.
Recommendations yes we have already booked for our return to the U.K. in May

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and it is always a pleasure. Staff friendly, rooms clean, restaurant good and lovely walks with the dogs. Very convenient for the ferry at Santander or Bilbao.
