We wanted a hotel where we could just sit, relax and have good food. We could not have chosen a better place than Mooirivier. The service was excellent, the terrace with river views a very relaxing place and the dinner was amazing. Also the wines we loved, original combinations. Breakfast was also really good. We have recommended this hotel to family and friends and the first did visit and really enjoyed it too.

What a nice hotel in a very nice surounding. Very profecional and friendly personal in a area where you will find rest. Perfect breakfast buffet end lovely wines on the teras or in one of the lounge areas. An absolut recommending.

Found this Conference Hotel on TripAdvisor and got a great rate. Staff were awesome. Room was very comfortable, Wifi worked well and they have a large free parking lot. I would gladly stay at Mooirivier again if I return to the area.

In fact, when you stay at Mooirivier you don't need to plan any extra trips... With all its terraces, situated direct on the border of this small river the 'Overijsselse Vecht', it is just perfect.
I must say, the weather was astonishingly good for Dutch standards during our stay, but we enjoyed breakfast, a delicious diner, coffee and drinks on this lovely terrace.
Of course we did make trips to see some of the surroundings. The landscape is made for hiking and biking. But also canoing is an option. Nearby are two interesting small towns, Dalfsen and Ommen, and it is close to the larger town Zwolle, with musea and a wide array of shops.

We booked this hotel as a kind of the last minut idea. We made a reservation for a DeLuxe Room with Riverview.
Arriving at the hotel it was just great. It looked like an African Lodge with a beautiful waterfall. The hotel is located along the River The Vecht so with great for outside dining.
Rooms are good but none have a patio or balcony. The new loftsuite have airco.
Staff is very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much to make you feel comfortable and very welcome.
Extended breakfast buffet with a lot of choices and includes local produce like homemade jam.
Lunch menu is plentiful especially the outdoor feeling makes it very relaxt.
We were lucky to have the possibilty to eat on the patio of the restaurant. And what can I say about diner? Yummie as the food is really good and is getting to star level in my opinion.
We had a 4 course meal included in our booking and I can highly recommend to do this.
The paring wines, also included where from an exceptional level and matched really wel with the food.
I would like to compliment the restaurant and kitchen staff with their efforts.
With respect to location: it lies in a quite area along the river. It's a great start for hikes and biking. 2 closest village are Dalfsen and Ommen and can easily be reached.
Sufficient parking available. If you bring your own biked you can store them in a locked room and its also possible to rent a bike.
I can highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and will certainly be back in the future
