Nice place, decent pool, clean rooms and kind staff. The breakfast is decent and location is short 5 min drive from Assisi. The aircondition could be better though.
It is though not too small with some 20 room from what I gather. Thus, do not expect a very small place where you get a talk with the owner and locals, etc.

We stayed here on the second leg of our Italian mini-tour and used it as a basis for Assisi. Room was brilliant - including a balcony where our daughter slept. She loved that! The hosts were exceptional - very friendly. They recommended us a superb restaurant at the bottom of the hill on a rainy day. The hotel's swimming pool was great for us - deserted but clean. You do need a car for this hotel however as Assisi is about 3 miles away (you can see it from the hotel) - and take lots of mosquito repellent. We all got bitten quite a lot. Highly recommended though - and breakfast was fine as well!

My friend and I stayed at Le Vignole for three nights and for the experience, service, and location that we got for the price of our room, we couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay.
Le Vignole has a homely vibe with an old Umbrian charm, and our room was nicely furnished, spacious, bright, and clean. The room was cleaned everyday and knowing how scorching hot it gets in Italy during the summer, the AC in the room was a lifesaver. There is also a cozy reading room on the top floor that opens out to the terrace. The location is perfect.
It's clear that the owner puts her heart and soul into runningLe Vignole, making sure we and the other guests were well taken care of and had an excellent. I highly recommend this place, and will most definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Assisi!

I have spent 4 nights in Le Vignole. It is absolutely necessary to have a car while you stay there - ther is about 4 km to Asissi. There is no restaurant at this place. Rooms - small but very cousy, clean,comfortable bed, bathroom - small, with the shower,clean. Garden - really lovely, pool - big, clean. Breakfast - tasty, but dull, every day the same,limited for example: one croussant or one egg for person! The staff - very poor english, we had some misunderstanding with payment. But after all - I can recommend this stay for a pleasant hideaway.

This was our second visit to this property, having first been there two years ago. We were happy to see that the quality remains high, and we could not imagine staying anywhere else in Umbria. The rooms are bright and airy, with amazing views of the Umbria countryside. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, jams, and coffee drinks.
Perhaps more importantly, guests are also provided with a written guide of suggested towns, restaurants, and activities, and since we were there for more than a week, we took it upon ourselves to visit almost everything suggested, with mostly fantastic results.
The owners are charming and approachable, and happy to help with even small requests.
