It's Fine for One Night
cseanmcon 29/04/2017 16:56Got into San Jose late so used points to stay here 1 night on the way down to Big Sur. The lobby and hallways are a little worn for sure. We had a king suite and it has fridge/kitchen with a couch. It's a good size room. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to the highway and you can hear some road noise. The walls were a little thin and I could hear person next door coughing and the dog barking down the hall. Typical free breakfast at Residence Inn with breads, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles.
Overall this place is just ok. Probably could be spruced up but inside.
Old and outdated
michellegreene2017on 31/03/2017 17:02I have never stayed in a Residence Inn that was in such a bad state as this one! The staff is nice enough but the state of the hotel rooms are very dilapidated. Ripped and worn chair cushions, stained curtains and broken taped remotes. I really cant believe the property is this awful.
Come on Marriott- you can do better!

Jim Jon 13/03/2017 00:45Spent a night here. Staff was helpful and everything was OK, but there were some things that needed improvement. The furniture in the room was a little on the shabby side, but was still functional. Bed was fine. The toilet ran and the tub didn't drain rapidly so water built up. Both of these items were reported upon check out and hopefully were fixed. Except during breakfast there was no cream at the coffee bar and if requested came from a carton (cream) or plastic jug (milk). all that being said, we would stay there again is necessary.

San_Fioron 05/03/2017 16:38We have stayed for 2 nights at Residence Inn San Jose South/Morgan Hill and everything was perfect ! The hotel is great and very well located ! The rooms were large and comfortable, the bed was really good! We reccommend it !
Pet friendly but near highway

Friendly helpful front desk staff.
Stove wasn't easy to actually cook on. Took forever to get water to boil to cook some pasta.
Good desk space but could use more USB charging ports. Wifi was spotty at times.
Plenty of parking and space to walk dogs nearby.
Breakfast slightly better than average for free hotel breakfast.
