My wife and I spent a weekend at The Olivia Mansion (AKA Mosheim Mansion) in August to relax and explore Seguin. We didn't see any ghosts but we loved the mansion! The new owners did a major yet careful renovation - spectacular. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was beautiful, elegant, perfect - bed was great, slept great, very quiet, no issues at all with water temp, air, electric outlets etc. As if that wasn't enough, Erica (the manager and sister-in-law of the owner) made a delicious breakfast casserole with fresh fruit and quite possibly the best coffee we ever had. Yes. Yes it was.
On top of everything else, she took us on a tour of the entire house. We got to see some other rooms that weren't occupied and even the old jail cell in the basement, which is not the same area as where the paranormal readings are highest. That area was creepy and glad it is very far from the guest rooms. :) Absolutely loved all of the historical facts and discoveries during the remodel, as well as the stories of the paranormal encounters! All in all, the Olivia Mansion was the best part of our weekend and made for a fabulous adventure!

I highly recommend a stay at this historical beauty. Very wonderful people own this home and they are so kind and pay very close attention to detail. The food is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. I can't say enough wonderful things about how relaxing this home is.

We have stayed in many B&B's during our 38 yrs of marriage & this one moved to the top of our favorite list. We stayed in Victoria's room which was huge with a king bed, chandelier, the largest jacuzzi tub right in the room (not the bath room) beautiful decor & linens and a separate bathroom with a large walk-in shower. French doors opened with a view of downstairs dining area. FIRST CLASS all the way! All rooms are upstairs so you need to be able to climb a lot of steps. We're in our late 60's and managed fine. The breakfast was delicious & our host Melissa was a sweetheart. The absolute only negative is there it's located in town and there is really nothing close by to do or see. We drove into Gruene which is about a 15 min drive & offers so much to do there. We would definitely return here though. We stayed during the week & used a groupon which made it very reasonable otherwise it would have been out of our budget.

We couldn't have had a better venue. Beautiful, comfortable place with five star treatment. The hosts did a fabulous job decorating the way we requested and everyone had a fabulous time. Highly recommend a stay for a special event or just a get away weekend.

We loved our stay at The Olivia Mansion! The hostess was super sweet and was helpful with all of our needs. Breakfast was wonderful and we got to chat with the hostess about the history of the home. The mansion has antique furniture throughout creating an atmosphere that takes you back in time. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and elegant with a comfy bed for the perfect night! This B&B was the most welcoming with added details that made our stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely recommend this place as the perfect getaway with your favorite person! Thank you for a wonderful experience-we'll be back soon!
