Otmar Gon 11/10/2017 22:04First the positive point: The bathroom was clean. That's the end of the good news. Except for the fact that the receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The out of town location leaves you stranded in the evening with nothing to do in the hotel. The only escape was to take a taxi to town and have a meal in a decent environment. The room was basic, painted in ugly colours. The linen was fresh, but the top layer of the bedding was not, so we felt very uncomfortable in bed. And in the corners above the window were spider webs. So I cannot recommend this hotel, not even for a single night.

Check in was swift but when asked whether or not breakfast was included, the receptionist did not make it clear that free coffee and muffins were available.
The room and bathroom were very good, as is the motel situation. Easily accessible with a good choice of eateries within short walking distance.
One night passing trough
Alessandro Gon 24/08/2017 04:40Standard hotel, close the highway but rooms were cleaned up and quiet. The price was too high in relationship at the.quality of service. Breakfast was a muffin with tea or coffee that you can eat sitting down, if you are lucky, otherwise standing in the halllway?
Disappointing
CarrieJ64on 21/08/2017 21:41We were a group with four rooms reserved. A bonus was that there was a connecting door from my room to another of our rooms. You do not get breakfast with your room but there is Tim Horton's coffee and muffins in the lobby in the morning. If you don't drink coffee or if you have any gluten issues then you are out of luck. A bowl of fresh fruit would be a nice addition. The sheets are not crisp, they are some kind of jersey material and there were only two pillows per bed with no extra blankets or pillows in the room.
We expected better
tsg1965on 16/08/2017 18:06This was our third visit to the Motel 6 and we were seriously disappointed.
In both our previous visits we quite liked the motel, but this stay was entirely different.
Monday night the fire alarm went off near midnight. We remained outside for 30 minutes before returning.
At no time did a staff member come out to explain what was happening or greet the visitors as they filed back in.
The next morning the manager on duty said it was suspected that someone had been smoking in a stairwell and that had set the alarm off.
While that isn't directly the responsibility of the motel, there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience of the situation.
On Tuesday night the motel was extremely noisy. The people in the room above us sounded as if they were wearing ski boots, and the noise persisted well after midnight.
We had our eight-year-old nephew along for his first visit to the area, and he had trouble sleeping through this.
Wednesday morning at 8:30 am, we were awakened to the vacuum cleaner outside our door. The staff person using it was actually bumping our door with the vacuum.
The room itself was ok, but it was tight quarters for two adults and a child with next to no storage space.
Upon checkout, I told the manager on duty we hadn't enjoyed our stay. She responded with little apparent interest or comment.
She said "our cleaners start early" in response to my complaint about the vacuum and seemed surprised that I would mention it.
While we enjoyed our previous visits in the autumn and winter, I doubt we will return and I can no longer recommend the Motel 6 as a good place to stay.
