Granted we did check in late. As in after midnight so it was nice to see someone still up or porch light was on. I will say someone did decide to paint over sized parking spaces. Which did make it hard to find a parking spot close to the room. Once inside the room the Air Conditioning worked great. Nice cold room nothing better to help you sleep. The rooms looked to be in good shape. But the cleaning left a lot to be desired. First stop restroom after driving for several hours. Raise the seat and boom my first though was they hire the blind because for sure no one had cleaned the underside of that toilet seat. I do not want to take a guess how long since it's last cleaning. No breakfast offered. At check out the front desk help was informed of the lack of cleaning done to the room after it's last rental. OH yes the refrigerator worked great that was in our room..

Stayed 3 nights for business purposes. First room had a pool of water on the floor and the icebox was broken. I was moved to the second room and unpacked. When I turned on the a.c. unit, it began loudly screeching and didn't stop. I repacked and was moved again to a 3rd room. That night I woke up itching at 2 am and saw a small green bug on the fitted sheet. I was itchy and didn't sleep well the rest of the night. Second night I sprayed the mattress and edges with alcohol since I'm sensitive to pesticides and didn't want to move again. The area hotels were all booked for a special event that weekend or I would have left. I slept ok the second night.
The third night I woke up itching again and found more bugs. I took photos to show the manager. I asked for a partial refund as I had only 1 night of sleep. After multiple calls, to follow up, he keeps coming up with the excuse that the exterminator hadn't come yet to inspect the room. No refund or discount offered. Miserable place. Don't go if you plan to get a good night's sleep.

Our check in was fast and without incident. The room smelled musty (cigarette smoke) although we were given a non-smoking room. Beds were comfortable and clean. Towels were also clean. There was paint splatter all over the wood laminate floors. Too bad because it really deterred from the appearance of the room. I was also disappointed that there were no towel racks in the bathroom area. For a quick trip and place to sleep it sufficed. If I travel back to Stephenville I will look for another place.

We arrived there late night and had to continue our journey back to Arizona next morning. There was no continental breakfast. Bathroom was unclean and mold around faucet. Hair Dryer wasn't provided in our room. The room had other basic things like flat TV, fridge and Wi-Fi. Overall it was not what we really expected.

If you are visiting or passing through, this is the best deal. There are other hotels in the town but they are either run down or super expensive. This Motel 6 gives you the feel of the fancier hotels but for the price of the cheaper ones. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The property is very well kept and the pool was super clean even though it was too cold outside to swim. There is even a barbecue pit area outside in case you want to relax, eat and enjoy the clear skies.
