We needed a base for four days whilst showing friends around the region and found and booked the motel online. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The covered car ports between the units meant there weren't any neighbour noises through the walls, outdoor furniture was available for enjoying our meals outside, and it was very peaceful at night.
Great place, we highly recommend it.

My Husband stayed here in February, we had a two bedroomed suite. This is a lovely motel set in beautiful grounds with free parking. The Manager, Vincent was so helpful and friendly, the place is very clean and well situated. It has a play area with swings, slide etc for young children, there is also a swimming pool, BBQ area with plenty of seating, and laundry facilities if required. Just down the road within walking distance there is a dairy where you can buy supplies etc. A wonderful place to stay, will definitely come back. Thank you all for making us so welcome.

Nice, comfortable place to regroup after doing the Abel Tasman.
The owner and manager here are what make the place so special. Really kind people who go out of their way to accommodate you. We didn't have washing powder so the manager actually gave us some of his!
The place is comfy with everything we needed to relax and chill out. There was an ant problem in our room, but the manager was on top of it and had already called the exterminator. It seemed they really took care of the place and the guests. Would stay here again.

We were just looking for somewhere in Mot to put our heads down for a night. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, and the management very willing and helpful. There is a small swimming pool to chill off in and relax around if you have the time.

Great little place in Motueka. Inflated prices from some of the accommodation in the region makes that summer family holiday pricey but this wee gem offers realistic pricing for the accommodation offered. I googled Motueka accommodation for last years holiday (and our first trip to the region) and went with these guys. We came back again in January this year and I have booked again for next year. The motel has fresh, clean and tidy units with well maintained grounds. Whether you are after peace and tranquillity or a place to spend time with the family then this is the place for you. Close to Toad Hall, cinema and a 10 minute stroll to the High Street. The owners are lovely and make the effort to ensure that you have a fabulous stay. We tried other accommodation in Motueka to get a comparison but it just didn't compare to Motueka Garden Motel in my opinion!
