Nice location and everything looks good in the first impression - basic issues - no spoon in the room to stir the tea which is the same for all the rooms - just a soap as toiletries - staff was helpful but food was pretty average - this place has a lot of potential and needs TLC
Good, but need improvement too

We, a group of five friends, stayed here in March 2017. It was a weekend trip.
Pros:
Its located right on the main road.
The layout is good and the rooms are spread over an expanded area.
They have a small recreational facility as well with fussball and TT.
The rooms are cozy and comfortable.
Of you are lucky and there is no haze, you can get to view the Nanda Devi peaks from the lawn in front of the restaurant.
Staff is helpful
Bon fire
The restaurant displays a good number of local artifacts
Cons:
The food menu, we did not expect them to repeat the same things ever day!
Six KMs before main Mukteshwar area (Chauli ki Jali and Corbet's Bunglow).
Bathrooms should have more toiletries.
No WiFi
Souvenir shop have no fridge magnets
Though we enjoyed our stay here, the kind of price bracket it is in we did feel it to be a bit overpriced and should have been provided with a little better facilities and food.
Good hill station resort for long weekends

A very good place to visit on long weekends...
Ambience - Good
Staff - Great team, ..they were extremely patient and worked hard to help us in timely manner.
Food - Good, I would have likened to taste one or two local dishes specifically in Non Veg section ☺️.
Almost home away from home!

Let me start with a HUGE compliment to the smoothness of the entire booking process. Super quick response to e-mails, phone calls to contact you personally and confirmation vouchers delivered on time. The resort itself is picturesque. Friendly, extremely hospitable staff and welcoming atmosphere. Amazing food with varied cuisine, would suggest only that lighter dishes be served at dinner time as the food is quite rich for daily consumption. All kinds of herbs for sale at really, really reasonable prices too!
A few drawbacks: the stringent rules regarding ban on clothes washing is definitely to be respected as there is water shortage in the hills, but guests should be informed AT THE TIME OF BOOKING that the laundry service takes THREE days! People tend to travel light and not carry too many clothes and no one can wait that long for clothes. Hard for families with children too.
They could possibly liaise with the UK Tourism Dept. to provide road maps and tourist info brochures of the region. A display in the reception of a list of local taxi operators with their rates would be useful.
Is it a place you would visit again? A BIG YES!
Nature at it's best.

Away from the maddening mundane humdrum of the busy Delhi Life. One can actually be in contact with ones inner self here.
The Resort is an orchard itself and the fruits and juices that are served at breakfast time are produce of the same. The picturesque landscape is a delight to anyone who has an eye for photography. There aren't any television sets in the rooms- and that is a really nice thing- it gives us the opportunity to actually interact with people and observe nature. and it's not like one is cut off from the world here , there is free wifi at the resort and cellular reception is great owing to the presence of the Network tower that is on the hill right above the resort - so any urgent call from work may be attended to.
The staff is friendly and they are always in sight.
The Food scene - Food here is really delicious. hands down! And is served in the Dining hall, which will take you back in time, with a Working Fireplace and artefacts that have been collected over time it's atmosphere is nice and cozy. They have an outdoor restaurant, that serves good snacks and pizzas too. But the chocolates and Brownies at their giftshop are worth dying for!!!!! They Are AMAZING!!!!!
The owner of the Resort is also around most of the time and has pretty amazing stories and experiences to narrate. Overall this turned out to be one of the most amazing trips I've taken in a while. Mukteshwar is such a peaceful place and the Resort just enhances it There are other resorts and hotels very close to it, but if you're a true TRAVELLER not a TOURIST , then this is the place you want to stay at.
