Superb location (the quiet but well served Livadi), amazing view on the chora from the prospicient beach (you just have to cross the street), warm welcoming by Maria and the staff, always ready to help you and give the right suggestions.
The studios are spacious and comfortable, silencious, with large beds and excellent mattresses (a detail not to undervaluate in holidays' accomodations).
Nearby (I mean walking distance) you can find two fine tavernas (Ta Gerani and Cocodrile) and a fine restaurant (Astropelos) plus a couple of bar on the beach where to have breakfast.
Re the breakfast, however, it is true that it is not included, but you are allowed to go to the Mouras resort (some minutes walking) and to have a rich and delicious breakfast for only 6 € (and the first time it is free): there the kind Iocasta will take care of you.

Mouras studios are just in front of the beach ,10m, very well organized and furnished, clean and pretty large. Maria, the owner, is an amazing woman, full of energy and always avaible to help u during your stay in the island. No noisy places neaeby so u will sleep well listening the sea sound

From the moment we stepped off the ferry and were greeted by Maria, she made us feel like we were at home. She showed us through the room, provided us with maps and information about the island and even assisted with organising a motorbike.
Transfers were included in the room rate. The room was very comfortable and clean. It's great value and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

My review concerns only the service at Mouras Studios since my reservation for an exclusive studio for the end of July (done 2.5 months in advance) was canceled 3 days before arrival due to overbooking.
I don't know who between Mouras and Expedia/Venere/Hotels is responsible for overbooking and last-minute cancelation. Both of them blame the other one, which is quite sad.
Anyway, Mouras says that they informed Expedia at the beginning of May and later again, without receiving any reply. Mouras had the chance to inform me (mid of May), as I asked for support in car rental. The problem was already known and notified to Expedia, but they said that they are waiting for me, without answering my question on car rental costs...
Two months later (3 days before arrival), Expedia called me and said that Mouras just notified overbooking. They proposed me two alternatives, which I refused. Almost every apartment on the island was full, but I had luck and I found something other, which was perfect and which I booked privately, by phone.
The Mouras Studios look nice from outside and are very close to Livadi beach, but I will definitely not consider booking again in the future.

Wonderful stay. Good service from Maria and the other personel. Recommended. We had 4 Nights in Mouras studios and were pleased with both the hotel and the island. Cozy atmosphere and a wonderful view and only frendly People in Livadi.
