Lovely classical Spanish hotel very close to the Alhambra. Great place to explore the City and warm still in September approx 30 degrees. Worth booking up a guided tour of the Alhambra and three hours was just right. Also saw a wonderful flamenco dancer. Plenty of wonderful food and drink all over the city. Clean air as cars are limited in the old part of the city.

The location of the hotel is wonderful as it is an easy walk to the Alhambra, the Albaycin and to the centre of Granada.
The building is beautiful inside with internal courtyards to sit in and relax. We stay in a Junior Suite which whilst nice was not extravagant or opulent. Because the building is old the room was unusual in layout with the bathroom therefore being a long way from the bedroom.
The breakfast choices was limited as compared to other hotels in which we have stayed in across Spain. The breakfast room itself was very small so you had to dodge other people all the time when you went to go to the servery area.
However the biggest issue by far was the noise. Whilst our room as a Junior Suite had a view to the Alhambra it also overlooked the Darro river (stream) and the road that ran alongside it. There were

One my most favourite suites so far. It's unique, and tells a story of the history of the area. Love that the room had a mini library, and the jacquzzi was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend staying here.

Had a Junior suit and room was large and spacious over looking street and up towards the top of the Al Hamra. This was all really nice along with hotel courtyard and seating areas.Granda is a hot city and the AC isn't the best, it needs upgrading. Hotel could be more generous with toiletries, very little provided. Bed uncomfortable and old with limited/poor pillows. Reception team helpful and location very, very good for everything. We didn't go but they have a top restaurant in an amazing cellar location - I think Michelin star! So book ahead dif you feel like it.

Great location on the river beside the Plaza Nueva to visit all the top sights. Hotel is a palatial house with lovely alcoves and fountains inside with excellent staff. Like being back in time and so classic.
