A centrally located hotel in Nanning, Nanning Hotel does have something to offer to travelers, being of business trip or others.
An outstanding feature among those is the convenience to wander around nearby facilities to experience the vivid and colorful night life, eg., the food street, or relax after a full day's work.

We always stay here on our departure back to the UK for one or two nights before our flight from Nanning airport. Great central position next to many restaurants and department stores. Hotel is getting a but dated now but still very comfortable and good value. Rooms good and good and helpful service. Good breakfast. About 30 minute taxi ride to airport for 100 Yuan.

We stayed here for 17 nights and were extremely pleased with the hotel.
Location - Could not be better, right in the heart of Nanning with easy access to so many things, Restaurants, Department stores and Bargain alleys - Night Markets and upscale Restaurants. It has it all.
The Staff were friendly and courteous with some English.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable with plenty of room. We had 3 adults in our room and did not feel squashed. The bathrooms had separate toilet and shower and basin areas which for us was very convenient.
We got upgraded to Building A and I would recommend that if staying here, ask for this option.
With so many places to eat around us, we did not try the hotel restaurants.
Only Negatives - On 2 days that were warm, the air conditioning was shut down,
- They have a lounge that serves coffee and tea, the coffee was american(crap) and disgusting and way over priced. Despite offering an espresso, they did not know how to make it,
But these were the only two negatives, and lets face it to find a decent Italian coffee in Nanning is no small feat. They seem to think American coffee is the way to go.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would choose to stay there again

The hotel has an old typical government management style. The room as small but the A side has been recently renovated, thus the equipment is not bad. The food at restaurants is delicious but the restaurants themselves are not well maintained and felt dirty. The hotel location is at the center of the city, just across street from major shop malls. This could be a plus for some, but could be noisy for others.

We stayed here for one night whilst waiting for the train to Hanoi. The hotel consists of three large towers, two αΊ£re connected and hold the bedrooms, lobby, bar, shops and barbers whilst the Fortune tower has the restaurants. Our room was in tower B which seems slightly dated compared with the rooms in tower A but was still very comfortable eventhough it was a smoking room. We found the customer service was very good especially from the front desk manager who guided us through check in and check out with good English. Staff at breakfast were also very accomodating. Managed to get a decent haircut from the lady in the barber shop on the ground floor despite the language barrier.
