I stayed here for one night due to a work engagement and I wish I could have stayed longer! It's a quirky place, almost gothic, and I loved it. I received a warm welcome and my room was also very welcoming. I had to turn the radiator off, it was that warm! The room was clean with plenty of complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Excellent. I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely b&b, rooms really clean with good bathrooms, owners understood we were working nights so allowed to sleep in day and room cleaned at night whilst out.
Breakfast was of good quality and a good range to choose from, we had 3 rooms and no complaints.
Was within walking distance into the town centre so no need to drive.
Would tell people to stay here !

Lovely, quirky, family-run hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet (especially considering the busy road). The owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit and a very welcome change from standard hotel chains.

Having never been to Ipswich I decided to have a look round, and after online research, found the Bentley Tower. It's 10 minutes walk from the town centre (maybe 25 minutes from train station). Room was nice, good size, everything worked. Fan in en-suite was noisy, so if with a partner you might get woken if they use the loo overnight, but not a problem for me this trip. Breakfast was not included (can be purchased for around £7.50), and overall I thought it somewhat pricey, but everywhere else locally seemed dearer.

We stayed at The Bentley Tower Hotel for one night while in Ipswich. The hotel was perfect. The owners were very friendly and approachable. Our room was spotless and homely. We had a full English breakfast, there was also cereal, juice and fresh fruit on offer. The garden was amazing, very tranquil. I imagine on a summers evening it would make a pleasant evening for just chilling with a bottle of wine. It is certainly a place we would visit again!!
