As we were familiar with the much more libertine neighbour resort Jardin de Babylone, we were not so sure what to expect of this naturist property. Or course it's different, we knew that before but it appeared really good in its own way, a spa oriented clean and well maintained apartment hotel. First of all, it's clearly a naturist accommocation, you can be without clothes all the time of your stay, also at the reception. In the indoor pool it's even strictly obligatory to be unclothed, including the sun deck next to it. Only the fitness room is an exception. For us, this was a pleasant and quiet place to stay when visiting the many attractions of the Village Naturiste, which all are at an easy walking distance, including the huge nude beach, the popular nude foam party, the outside pool of Kamasutra, the 2et2 sauna and so many more clubs and activities. Admittedly, there is no such entertainment in your hotel but we liked it also just for that reason. The personnel was always friendly and correct, there was no problem at all about cleaning costs, as some guests described earlier. The reception was open until 20 h in the evening. Room was large, with a bedroom, living space and a simple kitchenette. Self-catering is easy with the many good food shops and even prepared meals in the nearby shopping centres. When you are looking for a relatively quiet and well organized fully naturist property, this is the place to go. Special experience is the rather small elevator with its mirrors, occasionally packed with nude people. We did not have the simple offered breakfast, nothing is better than an early morning walk for fresh croissants in your birthday suit...

Stayed with another couple in a 1 bed apartment (we had the sofa bed in the living room). Room was OK but had not been prepared very well. Although the reservation was clearly for four persons they only provided bedding, towels etc for two. Also stuff was missing like the shower mat you stand on when you get out of the shower. We had to collect the missing items ourselves from reception. Not a good start after a long journey. There was a small kitchen facility, not that well equipped so not ideal if you intend to do a lot of self catering. Our terrace overlooked the Hotel Babylone with pool (sex) parties most days; looked like they were all being given aphrodisiacs because almost everyone was demonstrating enormous levels of libido! We liked the indoor pool at Natureva and recommend the aqua gym sessions. Natureva is quite convenient for shops, restaurants and the beach.

My credit card was over charged by 480.00 Euros.
This property is self-catering and the guests are responsible for cleaning with the option of paying 75 Euros for each cleaning. When we checked in our room was not clean and the terrace was filthy. The windows were also dirty. It seems that the previous guest didn't turn it over clean and it was our issue to deal with.
Other areas of the property such as the pool show wear and deferred maintenance, they're not investing to keep it up.
The manager, Chantal Tousard, doesn't seem to care about any of the issues. She wasn't helpful at all when we asked for assistance during our stay. Overall, Natureva Spa is a poor value considering the hassle of dealing with dirty rooms and overbilling.

The room is large size and mine was to sleep 4 (I was travelling solo hence useless).
Having said that, everything else is terrible. The reception is closed b/w 12pm and 3pm and then again after 6pm. If you come beyond their reception "opening hours", be prepared to be stranded with all your luggage !! Why on earth would someone book an over 100 Euro hotel with a reception which opens for about 6 hours a day !! I thankfully arrived at 2pm and only had to wait 1 hour.
There is just 1 lady apart from the cleaning staff (who come only at 11pm once a day). There is absolutely no one else to take care of the property !! The lady is HIGHLY RUDE. Maybe she was racist but then I can't really say she was helpful to anyone else either. There is no one to fix anything just in case you have a problem. I had my refrigerator not working and all she kept saying was I need to flick the switch. Despite repeated requests nothing was done.
There was no shampoo provided in the toiletries. Forget about calling the reception to ask for things (There is no one to pick your phones). I walked down personally to ask her and then again show her there by bringing down the toiletries that there was no shampoo. She simply shrugged and said can't do anything.
It's as if, she is least bothered about you, once she has handed over the keys. And there is no alternative staff you can talk to since she is only person there !!
I had more help from nearby hotels (where I was not staying). OZ Inn is right opposite and they helped me stow my luggage with their bell desk while Natureva's reception opened. The camp sites people showed me around in their golf cart. And apartments are way cheaper (even for 1 or 2 day stays) and make much more sense.
Almost all rooms at Naturewa were empty. No chance to socialize and no helpful tips on what/how to do/ where to go. Again, it was the other hotels, I had to walk to for seeking basic information.
All hotels gave cycles on rent while Natureva was always were "sold out" even early morning!!
Please book any apartment/camp site (cheaper on walk in)/ OZ Inn/ Hotel Eve rather than this, if you don't want to spoil your holidays.
Also, travel to Cap d' Agde only in weekends/peak season, or visit as a day guest rather than staying inside on weekdays unless you get very cheap apartments/camps. The hotels are not providing anything extra and it's much better to rent a bike from Agde and make daytrips/night trips to the naturist village if you don't get something cheap.

Ridiculously overpriced. We came at the beginning of the season and our room was very dirty. Our bedsheets had been used and when I pointed this out to the women at reception she promised to change them (this happend twice) but it never happened. The balcony was covered in spider nets and there was dust everywhere. I ended up cleaning the entire apartment top to bottom but eventually we decided to leave early. The indoor pool is ok but the are around it is not particularly well maintained. The only good point to make is that we got most of the money back.
