Best breakfast of our holidays

A lovely place to stay. An amazing breakfast with a simply delicious selection of fruits, handmade jams, great cooked breakfast and everything in a lovely eating room. Nice common living room, excellent bathroom even though it was further down the aisle (and not shared), comfortable room, helpful hosts, beautiful location. Absolutely family friendly, but perfectly recommendable also for anybody else who likes a quiet location. No Wifi reception in the room, but it worked perfectly from the common room.

Newmill farm Wigwam’s - what a fab few days.

We had a fab few days at the Wigwam’s. It was our first wigwam experience and we really enjoyed it. The pods were extremely clean inside, the grounds are fab for kids, the dining barn was fun and sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows at night was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t bring myself to shower however as that was just a tad rustic for me! We were the only guests for the 2 nights we were there but I can imagine when it is busy with more guests it would be a nice atmosphere as kids would play together etc. Although we enjoyed having the place to ourselves. All the facilities are in the dining barn; toaster, fridge, microwave, sink. Also we didn’t realise we needed to take our own crockery etc but we bought plastic ones from the Asda 10 mins away in Perth. Great place for family fun with peace of mind that the kids can roam and explore safely. And the Wigwam’s are very cosy at night. 10.5 tog duvet in October was too warm!

Fantastic breakfast. Nice room. Good common area. Friendly and helpful staff. We planned our vacation about six months in advance and got helpful advice regarding sightseeing in the area. It was hard to find as GPS showed it on other side of road. Recommend that you call for directions and follow them, explicitly. The B&B is right off the highway and easy to find - once you've made right turn. We visited over banker's holiday and good restraurents were not to be had. Right up road is Perthshire travel center with good food and souveniers. Reminder it does close early.

Amazing Wigwams... great for young kids!!

We had an absolutely brilliant weekend in the wigwams. Great safe place for kids to play in very safe environment. Facility are kind o basic but has everything you need - fridges, microwave, showers, toilets, sink for washing up, kettles, toasters. Nice communal sheltered area should it rain. Great fun having bbqs and nice fire pit in the evening. Will defo be back x

Wonderful wigwams

The onsite staff where fantastic, really welcoming, nothing was to much for them. Although we didn't bring our children with us this time we witnessed the great enjoyment of many others throughout our stay making good use of the stream and play frames.

Even though it was raining we still enjoyed making use of the provided firepits and enjoyed BBQing dinner - although there is a provided microwave and toaster.

There was plenty of areas ideal for dog walking as well as a 20 min walk around one of the crop fields. The camp itself was peaceful far enough away from the A9 to not hear the traffic.

Great value for money would definitely recommend
