We stayed at this hotel as part of our 4 night wine tour. Our room 221 overlooked the square but we weren't disturbed by any noise, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the on suite shower room was a good size. The breakfast was self service and adequate. If we return to Siena we would definitely stay at the NH hotel

Clean, decent size rooms, comfortable bed and a decent breakfast included in the room price.
Close to all attractions.
Room layout could be better as there is no place to lay out a suitcase.
Be sure not to take a room overlooking the street as the pickup of the dumpsters at 6:15 a.m. Is annoying.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was perfect. We had a room on the 5th floor facing the city and countryside and it was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect to the city center and the room was clean and very up to date. Would highly recommend.

If you need anything after your stay, it was my case, despite the e-mails I send and the several phone calls (sometimes they hang up the phone when you are speaking), nobody solved my question.
NH- SIENA the worst hotel reception desk I have been dealing with.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May and had a superior room on the 3rd floor overlooking the stadium as we had requested. The room was large and clean and everything worked. We heard no traffic noise but could certainly hear the church bells at 6.50 and 7.30 am -at other times of day they sounded very nice!
If you cross the square diagonally you are immediately into the historical part of Sienna.
The square at the front of the hotel is where buses leave from and we spent a day in San Gimignano travelling there by bus. We arrived and left by train and the taxi fare was about 8 euros from the station. The bus to the station also leaves from the square.
We didn't give it 5 stars for a few minor reasons- plastic glasses in the room, holes in the curtain lining, mouldy oranges in the breakfast display, queues at reception at checking out time and only one person dealing with people. Overall we would stay here again.
