One night stay to visit Cinque Terre
MCJ0310on 15/06/2017 22:13This hotel was ok, good lobby, polite staff. We arrived early, around 1300 but was told it was too early to check in so they offered us a room upgrade for 15 euros. I was desperate to drop off my bags so we could head out to cinque terre I took the offer. The room was ok, moderately sized but the whole place needs a good renovation as the bathroom was quite old and weathered. Good breakfast though and staff were nice!
Extremely pleasant stay - excellent visit
Mark Won 07/06/2017 19:04This was the last stop (of four) on our Honeymoon and we could not have chosen any better. The location is great for the train station (10 minutes walk) and the ferry to Cinque Terre - just get there early! - and the hotel is well appointed, clean and functional, if a little basic (as we expected). The staff were all uniformly magnificent - very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable as well. The breakfast was a high point of the visit and very thankfully kept us going for the long days out sight seeing. Would we return? Yes, obsolutely.
Needed maintenance and better housekeeping
Sarah Lon 07/06/2017 18:24Stayed for one night with a group of 26 people on 30-31 May 2017. Location was great, near the beach, church, marina, shops and restaurants. I love that the hotel provided water and welcoming drinks in the lobby.
When i entered my room, I immediately noticed that the AC pipe was leaking near the door, causing wet floor. I told the problem to the front desk and the technical person fixed it. My concern is how this problem was not noticed by the housekeeping. The bathroom flush would not automatically stop unless you turn it off manually. Our room was located near the elevator, and thus we had only a small window in the corner. Work table was small and the bulky desk lamp made smaller space to work with laptop. The room next to us made annoying loud noises like a boat when they turned on the water in their bathroom (probably when they showered).
We had dinner in the hotel, spaghetti and beef steak, which were delicious. The breakfast was also nice (I had pizza and croissant and cheese). Staff were friendly.
Overall it could have been a very pleasant stay if there was no maintenance issue.

Shannon Ron 06/06/2017 20:25I travelled to La Spezia specifically to see the Cinque a Terre. This hotel was booked for me by my travel agent, because it was close to the marina. I was very impressed with the location and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Upon check in, I went to my room. I was dismayed to see that it was adjacent to part of the roof. As I like to sleep with my window open and felt this was not safe, I went to the desk and told them my concerns and was graciously accommodated with another more suitable room. Thank you. The staff at the desk were so helpful, friendly and cheerful. Great hotel, great staff, good food, good service, good location. Would recommend to others.
Great hotel with great staff
travelgenie4on 02/06/2017 17:08This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our tour of Italy. The hotel was bright clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. The room was a bit small but the beds were comfy. We loved the rooftop patios and views of the harbor, the fitness room and how easy it was to get around town and to Cinque Terre. Definitely would stay here again.
