The Nice Beach Hotel is close to the beach and has good sized rooms. The beach is across the road and has no lifeguards but it is shallow. Breakfast was supplied and was satisfactory. There are only a few small eating places close by so the choice is limited. The larger towns are some distance away and to get transport it is necessary to get the staff to call a taxi or Tuk Tuk as there are very few in the vicinity. There are no safety deposit boxes for valuables and the television has a reasonable list of programmes. The pool is good but has limited seats available and the wifi is limited to the lobby which is inconvenient to the guest. There are no luxuries here and the distance from the town can be a problem.

The room was perfect! Big, nice view, big bbalcony, good tv with a lot of english channels. First place were we got a baby bed and the hold hotel perfect with trolley. Close to beach, nice pool

Just 2 chairs by the pool, one of them broken

The hotel is on a quiet beach, the rooms are good sized, tv, fridge, ok bathroom, balcony, seaview, swimming pool.
The room didn't seem to me so dated as mentioned by others.
Very good sized breakfast, worth the extra 100baht for two people.
Unfortunately the wifi only works at the lobby and a couple of floors up.
This was a problem for me, so I moved out.
If you don't mind the patchy wifi, you will be allright, not a fancy hotel though.

The hotel is in a wonderful position overlooking the beach but sadly is very run down and needs a lot of attention.
Wifi in the lobby only & very unreliable. No towels provided for the pool or beach. Use room towels only. When you return from the beach if you are lucky you will eventually get fresh towels, which will only be put in your bathroom when they have the old ones back.
Showers are cold and staff unhelpful.

Room smelled luke a mixture of mold with insect repellant . Children had drawn "art" on the bed sheets. Safe in the room was broken.
Sea view room should be renamed to tree view. Don't bother taking that one.
The bed was terrible. We just travelled 5 weeks through the Isan but this hotel is by far the worst we slept in.
The crunchy noises you hear when walking in the restaurant are the dead flies on the floor.
Paid for 2 nights but wanted to leave the next day. Hotel didn't refund the 2nd day but we left anyway.
This hotel is a dump.
