We were greeted with a smile and warthogs. We were transported by a lovely lady across the reserve seeing, giraffes with their young, monkeys and many more animals. On arrival at the reserve we were given a cool towel to freshen up and a delicious cold drink.
Porters took our luggage to our tent while it was explained that tea was at 3.30 before setting off on the evening game drive.
We quickly settled into the 'tent' which has air conditioning, indoor and outdoor shower and was very luxurious.
Kevin was to be our tracker, he was great, good fun, very knowledgeable and was good company. He joined us for our evening meal in the 'boma'.
We had great interaction with the animals on the reserve, especially the lions.
The food was delicious with plenty of choice. If the evening meal wasn't a buffet you were asked to choose from the menu during the day.
We went fly fishing and had a spa treatment. The river running through the camp is very pretty.
Each evening when you are on the game drive the shutters on the tent are put down the beds turned and the light put on.

We stayed for 2 nights in this magnificent place. The "tents" were fantastic, food was perfect, the landscapes in Nkomazi are really amazing. Safari-experience is really great with rangers that take all the time to show you everything, also the smaller things.A "must visit" and a "must return to"!

My wife spent two nights at the reserve. This was our 4th safari of our trip so we had our expectations in check. nkomazi exceeded our Expectations and we had a great time. We managed to see many animals and really enjoyed the downtime. Henrik and Vosi were both great guides.

This was our last accomodation before leaving the country. There was no better way to end our trip. Everything is well organised, the food is great, the game drives were stunning and you can relax also very good in the camp.
Thanks Clement en Kevin for the wonderful gamedrives, we saw some beautiful animals and they both did everything to get us Lions up close and personal! And they succeeded.

We came for our honeymoon from the 3rd of August to the 5th and it was just fabulous!
We had room 1 and the tent, the staff down to the food everything was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer.
tents were also cleaned and heated at night, food was excellent and very tasty, and the staff very professional and friendly at all times.
Thank you to the whole staff you made our stay unforgettable!
Vusi was the best ranger ever! you could ask him anything, he knew everything! It was really a lot of fun going on safari´s with him, he has a great sense of humor, and I really felt welcomed and there are no words to express how hard it was to leave this paradise. The other rangers were also very friendly and always there if you asked any questions. Thank you to Kevin as well for going on a bush walk with us.
All in all, thank you once more to the whole staff!
We will never forget our honeymoon and we will definitely come back!
