Was upgraded to a Junior Suite on occasion of a one-night business stay in Mid November.
The room, despite the upgrade, was quite small, even by the standards of old historic boutique hotels in London: there was only a 20-30 cm space left between the bed and each of the walls.
The bathroom is also very small, with no place to line up personal toiletries items.
Linens and towels of good quality, and bed is quite comfortable.
Furniture is certainly of good quality and taste, both in the rooms and throughout the common areas, but clearly a bit dated.
The breakfast room is in the basement, and as such it does not have any natural light: this is a bit weird and certainly not at par for an establishment in this category who rightly prides about its membership of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Breakfast offering is instead of good quality, and reasonably priced.
Personnel is very kind and helpful throughout, particularly the bar tender.
The bar is actually very very nice, and the hotel also has an outside area with sofas where smokers can enjoy a good cigar while drinking a cocktail.
All in all, a good historical landmark hotel, but with two key downsides: size of rooms (not for claustrophobic!) and pretty poor breakfast room.

Lovely hotel with a central location close to great shopping, restaurants and attractions. Great service with a very positive and friendly staff.
If you want something more personal than larger hotel chains this is the place for you.

Not a great experience this time unfortunately - if you get room 109, ask for another room. It is very small and hot and not a pleasure to stay in at all.
We have stayed here on 2 previous occasions in 2 other rooms (room 110 and 008) and that has been great.

Great location but not 5 star
Much less services and standard than i would expect from this sort of hotel
The breakfast needed improvement and the room refurbishment as it did not feel as a small luxury hotel, which usually are so good

On weekends lot of noise at night from Cadogan Garden side. Usually the windows should be made to prevent street sounds. Otherwise i would recommend higly the hotel for the warm of its staff, its excellent services and its great location.
