Clean nice hostel; many bathrooms -so no waiting time, yey!!; amazing staff, perfect location (next to the Queen Victoria markets), and besides free coffee and tea also free pancakes every morning!! Had a great time!

The staff were very accommodating and even helped us get on the flight we almost missed by 3 minutes!!!!
Location is great being near the markets and not too busy. But also close enough to walk to the city. When we first arrived our room smelt awful. Once those people had moved out it improved though. Shame the elevator was broken, but things cant be perfect all the time. Great the reception is 24/7. Would definitely stay here again.

Yeah... I might be getting too old for this kind of places ! Or is this place getting too old ?
"Free WiFi" is free only from 7am to 7pm, then you have to pay... what a cheap move !
No individual light by the bed, only light on the ceiling in the dormitories.
Keycards nonsense to open the room and use the lift (they work 1 of & 10 times) and noisy doors that do not shut but slam.
+ side : good location, near the very nice Flagstaff Gardens (and Komegashi japanese restaurant !), pancakes in the morning served with a smile.
Very cute outside "bar" area.
Good place if you are traveling on a tight budget and are able to sleep anywhere. Unfortunately I am not and I barely slept.

The bathrooms were gross with no evidence that they ever get cleaned. The whole place is really run down, the only upside is that it is pretty close to town but by no means the best location available. They also only give you a comforter (no top sheet) to sleep with that never gets washed.

Should have a sign saying you need to login with 'Tipi' before checking in as we waited in line only to be told this... And end up at the back of the line again.
Overall fabulous stay.
