Wonderful break in paradise
Ray Eon 17/11/2017 11:49We booked on the web not knowing what to expect following a disaster week in an RV in New Zealand.
We arrived way, way too early and Christine our host happily agreed to let us move into our unit.
Number 17 is placed midway between the Bar-B-Q and the Pool, perfect for us to maximize our time at both.
The units are spotless with all the necessary utilities, washer, tumble drier, dishwasher and really roomy.
The walk to the river with boat, jet ski, kayak hire are five minutes away.
Feed the Sting Ray from the sidewalk if that takes your fancy or just cast a line for a fish.
Up the road (Gympie Cresent) are all the restaurants you would need for lunch or dinner and literally 10 minutes walk away.
Supermarkets and off license are five minutes away in the car.
So, simply said the Jacuzzi, Pool, astra-turf tennis court, spotless units and Chris and Christine as your hosts you cannot go wrong.
I would not hesitate to recommend this resort.
Thank you Chris & Christine for a wonderful stay
Needs Alot of TLC
tania kon 07/11/2017 21:04As far as location goes, it is fantastic. Just a 1 minute walk to Gympie Terrace with plenty of restaurants to choose from. A 2 km walk to Noosa is pleasant or it can easily be accessed via bus or ferry for a small fee.
As far as the "resort" goes, and i use this word very loosely, it is out dated, in need of repairs and a little run down. The pool area is lovely, as is the bbq area which is shared by other resorts on the plot. The managers, Chris and Christine are lovely as well. Keen to help out wherever needed.
As far as the room goes, 6 people can sleep in the three bedrooms. My concerns however were the carpet in the bedrooms were definitely not vacuumed before our arrival. There was dust on the kitchen bench and the telephone, which i did not want to use. There was only 1 glass in the "fully catered" kitchen (luckily there was only 2 of us). The tape deck on top of the fridge was very old and definitely not MP3 compatible as the brochure stated, and the couches in the lounge had seen better days.
The bathroom was quite nice, with a bath/shower that was clean but maybe a little small for 6 ppl. There was mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. This could be because of the lack of window or fan. The sheets on 1 of the downstairs beds had rust stains on them and it felt like the pillows had not been renewed for many years. The outdoor furniture was weather damaged with rust so we had to place a towell on the seat before sitting.
I know it sounds like a bad review, but only with some TLC would this resort be up there with the best of them.
Nice facilities, uninterested manager
taylordjones_89on 19/10/2017 00:30Stayed for 5 nights. Rooms and facilities pleasant. Charged $50 by petty, uninterested manager for using upstairs bedroom due to the fan in bottom bedroom not working correctly. Male manager was pleasant to deal with. 500mb of wifi per day not adequate for family usage.
Great Stay
Tipeneon 18/08/2017 05:52The Noosa Keys Resort has a lot going for it. Great swimming pool spa pool and outdoor BBQ complex. Just a five minute walk from numerous cafes shops and restaurants. Quite location , largish rooms with Foxtel , well equipped kitchen and fast free Internet (500 mb daily allocation) Friendly management who are attentive to requests for assistance and information The resort is set amongst many trees and there is a wide assortment of bird wildlife that can be seen and heard. We have already booked to return in 2018.
Great stay
Nomie22on 28/05/2017 07:19This was a lovely stay. We had the 3 bedroom apartment. Perfect for our family at a reasonable cost. We loved the cleanliness of the apartment. Kids enjoyed the heated pool, spa and the tennis court. So close to most areas. Staff are lovely
