Room was great, did not bother the small windows that they have on the 4th floor (that some reviewers had complained about), we found it cozy.
Room was clean and welcoming.
The location of the hotel is great, super close to all restaurants and shops, so at night you can walk 5-10 min and you don't have to use the car.
Staff was always polite, breakfast was perfect.
We highly recommend it!

It was exciting to pull up to the hotel and feel like we had scored big time in getting a deal on a room for this hotel with a Groupon coupon. The facility is beautiful and fits with the feel of the surroundings. The front staff was helpful in getting us an early check in for our room. We were told we were given an upgrade on our coupon rate in having a room with a balcony. I had requested a quiet room not near noise. The room was next to an elevator but it couldn't be heard unless one was in the bathroom area. We weren't there long when the front desk called to ask if we were happy with our room. At first we were, and then we discovered the following downsides to the room: the phone didn't work to call the front desk and the toilet stopped up. We were moved to a different room the 2nd day and that room was nicer but the safe didn't work. The package came with free breakfast, which provided choices from the menu or from a buffet. The breakfasts were adequate but not outstanding. I would stay here again but only at a bargain rate with another Groupon discount, for example. The hotel is only a block away from the heart of the town so it is accessible for walking to go shopping and eating at restaurants without having to locate a parking spot downtown. It has an outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

Hotel was fine and well priced for a Sunday to Monday stay over on Columbus day. very walk able to restaurants and even an outdoor bar. avoid Whiskey Pete's if you want a anything but beer. The exterior and a peek inside tells it all. Have to admit living in the LA area, people working there and visitor are real genuine and friendly Much better place to go than Lake Arrowhead.

Have stayed here before, great location to the downtown shops and restaurants. Nice facility. Comfy beds. We booked a king and got downgraded to 2 queens although the clerk said it was an upgrade? They had some big event going on so was pretty busy. The room was nice with all the amenities one would expect. Coffee and continental breakfast was good. Staff was very nice and all in all a good stay

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at The Lodge at Big Bear. It was our first visit to this part of California and it won’t be our last. Some great hikes and the village and hotel exceeded our expectations.
