We don't usually stay in such fancy hotels but this seems way better than the competition for not a great deal more money. Everything was great- the room, bathroom, gym, pool, breakfast. Staff were really helpful, even with my very limited French. Highly tecommended.
A catastrophe from beginning to end!

Stayed at this hotel over period of 10 days. I am used to Novotel / Accord standards. This one is a complete catastrophe from missing confirmed reservations to room service over an hour, to empty bfast and diner buffets, to cockroaches in the restaurant, to impossibility to connect to wi-fi between 7am to midnight. Novotel needs to change his management team there!
Comfortable place to stay

The hotel is easily accessible being situated along a major road. The reception staff were very friendly and receptive. The lifts worked well. I stayed on the ninth floor and the room was very comfortable and well-designed. The bath and toilet were in separate rooms and convenient.
Excellent choice in Abidjan

Spent 2 months in this hotel, newly renovated and modern decoration with European standard. Best hotel in the city. Really nice staff managers and chef. Ask for GM Mr. Thomas or chef Eric, you will not be upset.
Left a lot to be desired

We visited the Novotel in Abidjan earlier this year (my partner and I) expected a lot from the cost per night (almost £200 per night) we did have a high expectation that and the Accor Group hotels have never let us down in Europe or the Middle East... so we definitely weren't prepared for this
The Positives: It was clean and looked relatively nice from the inside and outside and upon check in the staff were very respectful one man in particular was amazing but I cannot remember his name. The cocktails although slightly overpriced were quite nice and always came with some nuts and snacks
The negatives: The breakfast was more of a continental breakfast buffet, which for the type of hotel it was... lacked (pastries, dry veg plus it was extremely dry). So, in the room there is no iron however we sent the clothes for ironing and of the 5 things sent all were still creased and we were still charged after complaining.
The toiletries in the bathroom, for a room for two in a hot country i'm not sure how 1 shower gel tube or one shampoo tube made sense BUT cost cutting after charging so much for a room per night is a terrible move.
Finally we paid for an extra night and asked if that included breakfast (to save us the hassel)... only to find out the next morning that the cost of a room for two with breakfast would only cover one person (haha) so we then have to pay the equivalent of £19 on the final night for breakfast that was once again mediocre.
Checking out was also a nightmare as the lady at the desk was rude and unresponsive, she chose to type on her laptop without so much as a polite (let me call my colleague or sorry I'll be with you in a second).
My partner said the gym was okay which is a plus-ish
I got a cheese platter from the bar that wasn't great too.
