cees57on 17/11/2017 20:33Realy IT was a delightfull evening Ti come back here! Why? Of course of you see mine previous check you know. BUT NOW, IT was realy exciting diner! See pics. Veal carpaccio and wild boar steak as a main. On recommendation of the lady ( who will speak against a lady ? ) I took a Panna Cottage! What a delisious choosen! I finish with an espresso and Calvados.

A bit rundown for the money paid
fverhoefon 13/11/2017 15:08I've come here now for a couple of years, but this year it was notably worse than before. The hotelroom looked quite rundown. Sprinkler was covered by plastic bag, tape covering the aircon, bathroom floor that was loose. Especially considering the money paid, I found the room not up to standard.
All the rest was good.
Probably worst ever hotel stay
Trustworthy72on 09/11/2017 15:07I was forced to stay at this hotel due to absence of options. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and distant from all antwerp attractions and businesses. The rooms require a full renovation: plenty of stains on the carpet and upholstery, cigarette burns on the sofa and whatever you look is worn-out. The restaurant is understaffed and food barely sufficient. Try elsewhere if you can.
Dirty, old, nothing to do with pictures. Slightly better than the street
Schegerinon 16/10/2017 12:18Stayed in this Novotel, the worst that I have visited in many countries, for a total of 2 weeks for business. The main feature of the hotel is the dirtiness of the disgusting carpet that they have on all floors and rooms.
Disgustingly old, dirty and with a lot of stains.
On the first week, bathroom was modern, at least. In the second, I got a disgusting room with a disgusting bathroom all in beaten-up wood and plastic mini-bathtub. Refused immediately and got a room with again modern bathroom, adapted to handicapped people. Yet, when you take a shower, the box is not sealed, meaning you have inundation in your bathroom every day. In order not to sleep under water, you have to watch how you bathe so water does not do to your room.
They asked me EUR15 to get the dish from restaurant to the room. I've refused. First night I waited 1:24h to get the food.
All the food is specially OILY, this is their specialty, for example, 5L oil with a salmon.
I've asked 3 choices for the dish. All 3 not available.
Also issues with system on the checkout, so it took 40 minutes and left without invoice, getting yet later by e-mail.
There's a place to put your business card to win a free stay. I'd like to win the possibility of not going to this place forever in my life.

Andrew Bon 10/10/2017 19:33We found the service to be really good as we are a family of three. Food was really nice, however a little over priced in my opinion for dinner. The rooms were clean and functional. My only criticism is the location. A main road and industrial estate are not good combinations for people that want peace and quiet so the windows had to be kept shut at night. This was a minor drawback but it did not let us spoil our time in Antwerp. Lovely city!!!
