Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful, especially Alicia at Club Floor. I was permitted to store my luggage at an earlier date and they did not hesitate to change my room when requested.

Good location, near shopping area and other city attractions. Room is a little dated and needs refurb. Lighting in the room is dim, carpet is warn, and the mattress is a bit low. Shower grout could use to be replaced. Good breakfast, however I was sure that my booking included breakfast, but it did not. So, be careful when booking to understand whether or not you selected free breakfast. Overall good value for the money, if you're hardly planning to be in the room anyway.

Very good location and is very close to the Wangfujing shopping center. Not a bad walk to the tian’anmen square and national museum, if you feel for a good exercise. Hotel has decent food but I recommend having dinner at a local restaurant just a few feet of the hotel where it’s cheaper and better. Breakfast was okay, good actually. Rooms are dated and the carpet in our room feels like it needed a major cleaning. I had suffered real bad allergies staying in the room but don’t let this bother you as I am only speaking for my experience as a life long allergy sufferer. Decent but dated bathrooms with good water pressure and good hot water. My only take on this review is, if you are an allergy sufferer, I’d recommend you to stay somewhere else. Being this is a 4 Star hotel in Beijing, this is an equivalent to a 3 Star hotel to the western hotel standard.

Staff is upbeat and service is good for a Novotel in China. Location is about the best thing of the hotel. F&B is not quite up to mark.. old property with no colour.. only lucky to be in good location and good staff attitude.

We found the hotel OK for our needs as were only spending the nights.
Compared to some of the other places we stayed in during our tour this hotel was slightly dated. We found the lighting a bit poor.
Considering we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary we expected to be accommodated in rooms with double bed but for some reason that was not the case. When queried we were told that it was the agent who had chosen the room for us and could not be changed.
