Housekeepers are going trough visitor's personal belongings
Andy_Biscuiton 08/10/2017 15:07If you happen to stay at this hotel make sure your belongings are safe as housekeepers WILL go through your stuff not necessarily to steal but 'to browse'.
Throughout the hotel there is an intense smell of an old building and sewage which local administration is desperately trying to mask with air fresheners etc
Like someone else already mentioned on this website the hotel is furnished for decoration only so don't be surprised if something won't work or easily break.
If you travel from UK/US do not hesitate to choose Biarritz as you travel destination but make sure to pick a DIFFERENT hotel.
A lovely hotel with an outdoor pool and lots of outdoor activities
Hannah Pon 04/10/2017 21:41A great place to stay before flying from Biarritz. Lovely rooms and good. Had a great time in the hotel garden playing boules, table tennis 🏓,badmington and football.
The pool is little but clean and nice.
A good night halt, but food expensive and poor.
PeterTheEater2000on 08/09/2017 20:27We have stayed here many times over the years, treating it as an overnight stop en route to the Costa Blanca. It's changed a bit Since the early days. The whole place has been subjected to a makeover and now call itself a spa resort. It's nice, the Staff are polite and attentive, but the food and menu isn't as good as it used to be. The menu used to have a few specialised local choices which they don't serve now and the quality of the food isn't as good as it was. My steak was good, my wife's burger wasn't great nor was my mothers omelette. And the chips were dreadful. But, it's a night halt, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the bar is a pleasant place to relax. The pool area is good and they have a nice outdoor terrace to dine when the weather permits.
Great value, great facilities, easy parking with just a short taxi or bus ride into Biarritz
Serena Pon 06/09/2017 14:20The hotel really isn't in Biarritz at all but a suburb, however on balance we preferred staying here and sending the money that we saved on nice food and drink when we went to the town for the evening.
The rooms are comfortable, if not a little basic but it is the communal areas and the pool area which is really is greta value for the price that we paid. Perfect for families. Parking easy and right outside and the breakfast really was superb in it's variety and offering.
So much better than staying is the very expensive hotels in Biarritz if you just need a place to lay your head.
Good hotel close to Biarritz
HansK40on 31/07/2017 22:17The hotel is refurbished the recent years with nice modern rooms and a nice pool on the backside. We stayed 3 nights in a triple room facing the poolside. The room was very clean and was cleaned very well every day. Free parking outside the entrance. Less than 10 minutes from the centre of Biarritz with car. Value for money!
