Novotel El Borg was one of the nicest experiences that we’ve ever had.
Their staff were very friendly and courteous all the way through, rooms/bathrooms were a joy and felt like getting back home with a fabulous view of the Nile.
Their breakfast spread was very good each and every day.
The cap the review, the icing was their GM Abdullah Gebrial was an incredible person whose ready to help their guest for any small issue if brought to his notice. A true gentleman with a magnanimous generosity is the only way I can express himself with.
In my next visit to Cairo, it Novotel El Borg without a doubt for us, besides it probably one the best located hotel right next to the Cairo’s cultural center & Opera Theatre a beautiful campus right under its nose if I may say so.
Keep it up Novotel & the credit goes to the culture inculcated by its GM am sure with all its staff.

- rooms and hotel itself are old. I´ve stayed at 6 floor view Nile River, and you cant sleep because it is too nosy!! Room is not well isolated

Don't miss the roof top view from Novotel, i choose this hotel because it is near to Cairo Tower, Opera House, and Museum. Staffs are friendly there. There are security check point in front of the lobby. Outside the hotel is quite happening at night, music is loud, near to a park, beside a river, have boats.

One of the worst hotels I ever stayed:
Dirty rooms, noisy, very substandard building, staff isn’t interested in guests. Be lucky if you can get a non-smoking room because that’s not standard.
Only plus is the central location with Nile view.
Over all, you’re better off choosing a different hotel - I certainly never ever come back here.

Novotel has been on "save the planet" movement worldwide but I think they should at least provide us with basic toiletries like toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, vanity set, sewing kit, shower cap and the likes.
Take note travellers that the hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo & soap.
